Do we need any prior drawing or painting experience?

Absolutely! Most of our guests in Groningen have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the absolute basics, from how to hold the pressure-sensitive cans to mastering 'fats' and 'skinnies' (different nozzle types). We guide you through the whole creative process, ensuring you walk away with a piece of art you're actually proud of. It's all about having fun and being creative in a relaxed environment.

What should we wear to an outdoor graffiti workshop?

We provide high-quality overall suits, gloves, and masks to keep you safe and clean. However, graffiti is a messy business! Tiny paint particles can sometimes travel, so we strongly recommend wearing old clothes and sneakers that you don't mind getting a little 'customised' with paint. Leave the designer gear at home and come ready to get stuck into the creative process without worrying about your outfit!

Is it safe to use spray paint for a party?

Safety is our top priority. We use high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary protective gear, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes. Our instructors are experienced pros who manage the site to keep everyone safe. If we are working outdoors, we also ensure the environment is respected. It's a controlled, professional setup designed for maximum fun and zero stress.

How long does the workshop usually last?

Ideally, we need about 1.5 to 2 hours for a full outdoor party experience. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, practicing your techniques on the 'practice wall', and then completing your final masterpiece. If you have a tighter schedule for your Groningen outing, let us know – we can often adapt the pace to fit your group's specific plans for the day.

What happens if it rains during our outdoor session in Groningen?

Since we're in the Netherlands, we're used to a bit of drizzle! Most of our outdoor locations in Groningen have sheltered options or we can arrange for large easy-up tents to keep the artists and the artwork dry. If the weather is truly extreme, we can discuss rescheduling or moving to an indoor backup location. We always keep a close eye on the forecast to ensure your party isn't a washout!

Can we choose the specific outdoor location in Groningen?

Groningen is a fantastic city for street art! While we often use dedicated 'legal walls' or private outdoor spaces where we have full permission to paint, we can sometimes come to a location of your choice if it meets safety and legal requirements. If you have a specific spot in mind near the Grote Markt or the canals, tell us and we'll see if we can make the magic happen there!

Are there any hidden costs for materials or travel?

No way! We hate hidden costs as much as you do. The price we quote includes everything: the artist's time, all the spray paint you can use, protective gear, and the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Travel costs within Groningen are usually included in the quote as well. What you see is what you pay, allowing you to focus entirely on the creative vibes.

Местна култура

Groningen is a city that breathes creativity. From the iconic architecture of the Groninger Museum to the hidden murals tucked away in the side streets near the Noorderplanten, street art is part of the city's DNA. Our workshops tap into this local 'Stad' energy, giving you a chance to contribute to the urban aesthetic that makes Groningen so unique. We often host our sessions in areas that reflect the city's industrial-meets-modern atmosphere.

Fun Fact: Did you know Groningen is home to some of the tallest climbing walls and most innovative urban spaces in the Netherlands? The city's "nothing is impossible" attitude is exactly the vibe we bring to every graffiti session!

Whether you're a local or visiting for the weekend, painting outdoors in Groningen offers a sense of freedom you won't find in a traditional studio. If you're looking for other cool spots nearby, we also host epic sessions in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht.
