Do I need previous graffiti experience to join the training?

No prior experience with spray paint is required! Our professional artists guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. We focus on teaching you the foundational skills so you can confidently pass them on to your students. Whether you are a classic fine arts teacher or a complete beginner to street art, you will leave with the skills you need to succeed.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get started. This includes high-quality spray cans in a variety of colours, specialized caps (nozzles), protective gloves, masks, and coveralls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or surfaces you'll be working on. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!

Where in Viseu do the teacher training sessions take place?

Viseu is known for its beautiful parks and historic centre, but we can host these workshops in various locations. We often use dedicated creative spaces, outdoor mural walls, or even your school’s own premises if suitable. We ensure every location is safe, well-ventilated, and provides the perfect backdrop for a day of intensive creative professional development.

Is the spray paint safe to use during the training?

Safety is our absolute priority. We use low-odour, high-quality paints and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including FFP2 or FFP3 masks. Our instructors are highly experienced in managing group safety and will teach you the specific safety protocols you need to implement when running your own graffiti workshops for students in a school environment.

Can the training be customised for my school's specific needs?

Absolutely! While our standard training lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours, we can design full-day intensives or multi-session programmes for larger teaching departments. If you have specific curriculum goals—such as focusing on 'Urban History' or 'Colour Theory'—just let us know. We love tailoring our expertise to fit your specific educational requirements and school goals.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the training session?

Yes, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We are so confident you’ll find the training valuable and fun that we focus entirely on the quality of the experience. Plus, we have backup artists available to ensure your session never gets cancelled due to illness. You only pay after the workshop is complete, ensuring you are happy with the results.

How will this training benefit my students back in the classroom?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for student engagement. It encourages teamwork, boosts confidence in students who might struggle with traditional art forms, and teaches valuable lessons about public space and respect. By the end of our training, you'll have a clear framework for lesson planning, safety management, and technical instruction to make your school art programme the talk of the town!

Местна култура

Viseu might be famous for its medieval cathedrals and its legendary status as the city of Viriato, but it's also a city that embraces the new. From the stunning murals that pop up during the Viseu Estrela Street Art circuit to the creative energy of the Adro da Sé, this city is the perfect place to master the art of the spray can. There’s something special about learning urban art in a city that balances ancient history with contemporary creativity. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Viseu has been consistently voted as one of the cities with the highest quality of life in Portugal? We think adding a bit more street art only makes it better! 🏆
