Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most university students in Lisbon come to us with zero spray-painting experience. Our professional artists start with the basics, from how to hold the can to mastering pressure control. We’re all about the 'learn by doing' approach, so you’ll be making vibrant art much faster than you think. It's a low-pressure, high-fun environment where everyone succeeds.

What should we wear to the workshop?

We want you to leave with great memories, not a ruined outfit! We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks. However, graffiti can be a bit messy, and spray paint is permanent once it hits fabric. We strongly recommend wearing comfortable, older clothes and sneakers that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of 'artistic character' on just in case.

Where in Lisbon do the university workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can host the session at one of our dedicated street art spots in Lisbon or come directly to your university campus if you have a suitable outdoor space. We also have indoor options using water-based, low-odour paints if the weather looks typical for a rainy Atlantic afternoon. We’ll coordinate the logistics with your student union.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide FFP2 or FFP3 grade masks to ensure no one is inhaling fumes, and we only use high-quality European spray paint brands. All sessions are supervised by experienced professionals who ensure the 'spray zone' is kept safe and organised. We make sure the environment is as safe as it is creative.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university session usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for introductions, technique practice, and the creation of a final large-scale masterpiece or individual canvases. If you’re planning a larger campus event or a multi-day festival, we can adapt the timing to fit your specific schedule.

Are there special rates for student unions or large societies?

Yes! We offer great discounts for larger university groups and student associations. Our prices in Lisbon generally range from €20 to €45 per person, but the larger the group, the lower the price per head. We’re committed to making street art accessible for student budgets, so reach out to us for a custom quote that fits your union's finances.

Can you accommodate very large groups of students?

We have a 'the more, the merrier' philosophy! While we have a minimum group size (usually 10 people), we can accommodate hundreds of students by bringing in a team of backup artists. This ensures every student gets personal guidance while being part of a massive, energetic creative 'jam.' We never trade quality for quantity, no matter the scale.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Местна култура

Lisbon isn't just a city; it's an open-air museum. From the massive murals at Quinta do Mocho to the hidden gems in the Alcântara backstreets, the 'LX' street art scene is world-renowned. Our workshops tap into this local 'bairro' spirit, celebrating the city's unique blend of tradition and urban grit. We don't just teach you to spray; we connect you with the local culture that makes Lisbon one of the most creative hubs in Europe.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Lisbon has an official 'Graffiti and Street Art Hall of Fame'? The city council actually supports urban art through the GAU (Galería de Arte Urbana), which is why you see such high-quality murals all over town! 🇵🇹
