Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Charleroi graffiti workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of can control, lines, and shading. Most of our participants have never touched a spray can before they arrive, but they all leave with a piece of art they're proud of. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself!

What should I bring to the workshop?

We provide everything you need to create your masterpiece. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality masks to ensure you don't breathe in any fumes. Depending on the workshop type, we also provide canvases or designated wall space. Just make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on, just in case!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide professional-grade FFP3 masks and nitrile gloves to all participants. The workshops take place in well-ventilated areas or outdoors at legal graffiti zones in Charleroi. Our instructors give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the equipment properly. We make sure the environment is creative, controlled, and completely safe for all ages.

How many people can participate at once?

We are very flexible with group sizes! Whether you are a solo traveller looking for a unique experience, a group of friends, or a large corporate team of over 100 people, we can accommodate you. For larger groups, we bring in additional artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance. In Charleroi, we have several locations that can handle both intimate sessions and massive street art festivals.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard public art workshop typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of the local scene, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the creation of your final artwork. If you have specific time constraints or want a more intensive full-day masterclass, we can certainly tailor the duration to suit your schedule. Just let us know what works best for you!

What happens if it rains on the day?

Rain won't stop the creativity! In Charleroi, we have access to several amazing indoor locations and sheltered outdoor spots. If the weather looks particularly bad for an outdoor session, we will coordinate with you to move the workshop to one of our covered 'hall of fame' areas or an indoor studio. We ensure the experience remains top-notch regardless of what the Belgian clouds are doing. Your creative flow stays dry!

Do I need to pay in advance?

We believe in a hassle-free booking experience. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your workshop. You can settle the payment after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We accept various payment methods including bank transfers and cards. This 'pay-after' policy reflects our confidence that you'll have an absolute blast making art with us in the city.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Местна култура

Charleroi has undergone a massive cultural transformation, turning its industrial heritage into a playground for urban explorers. The city is home to the famous Street Art Bus route and incredible murals by world-renowned artists that have turned old factory walls into masterpieces. There is a raw, honest energy here that you won't find in Brussels or Antwerp. It's the perfect backdrop for a graffiti workshop because the city itself breathes street culture.

Fun Fact: Did you know Charleroi is often called the "Cradle of the Comic Strip"? While it has a rich history with characters like Lucky Luke, it's now becoming equally famous for its massive "Biennale d'Art Urbain" which attracts artists from all over the globe! 🇧🇪
