Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our guests in Sheffield have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, teaching you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It's all about having fun and discovering your hidden creative talents in a supportive environment.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to create your street art. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks. We also provide the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Just make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic' dust on, just in case!

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard public art session in Sheffield usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of your large-scale piece. We find this timing is perfect to keep the energy high and ensure everyone finishes their artwork without feeling rushed or exhausted.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour spray paints whenever possible and provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks to all participants. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors are highly experienced in managing groups and ensure that everyone follows safety protocols while using the equipment. It’s a controlled, safe, and professional environment for all.

How does the payment process work?

We are proud to offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. We don't require any upfront payments or deposits to secure your booking. You only pay once the workshop is finished and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to book with total peace of mind. Payment can be settled via invoice or bank transfer.

What happens if it rains or an artist is sick?

Sheffield's weather can be unpredictable, but we've got you covered! If we are scheduled for an outdoor session and the British weather doesn't cooperate, we have backup indoor locations or can arrange marquee cover. Additionally, we have a large team of backup artists, so even if an instructor is unwell, your workshop will always go ahead as planned. We never cancel on our clients!

Местна култура

Sheffield has a soul made of stainless steel and street art. From the legendary murals in the Cultural Industries Quarter to the hidden gems tucked away in Kelham Island, the city is a living gallery. Our workshops celebrate this local heritage, drawing inspiration from Sheffield's grit and creative transformation. We don't just teach you to paint; we connect you with the urban rhythm of the city that gave the world Arctic Monkeys and Jarvis Cocker. 🎸

Fun Fact: Did you know Sheffield is home to 'The Snog', one of the UK's most famous pieces of street art by Phlegm? The city's hilly landscape provides the perfect canvas for vertical masterpieces! 🎨
