Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors start every session with a safety briefing. We also use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated street art zones in Tilburg to ensure a healthy environment for your students throughout the entire creative process.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard secondary school workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes the introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of the masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your specific school timetable or extend it for a more in-depth art project if you're looking for a full-day 'cultural day' activity.

What is the maximum group size you can handle?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you have a small art class of 15 students or an entire year group of 200, we can accommodate you. For larger groups, we bring in multiple professional artists to ensure every student gets personal guidance and support. We have a large team of backup artists ready, so your Tilburg school event will never be cancelled due to staff illness.

Do we come to your location or do you come to our school?

Most schools prefer us to come to them! We can set up on your school playground or a nearby sports field using our mobile graffiti walls. However, if you'd prefer an authentic street art vibe, we can arrange for the workshop to take place at a legal graffiti zone in Tilburg, like the famous Hall of Fame area near the station.

Do students need any prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Our professional artists are great at breaking down complex mural techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We find that even students who claim they 'can't draw' end up being some of the most enthusiastic participants once they feel the pressure of the spray can and see what they can create.

What materials do we need to provide?

We’ve got it all covered. We provide the spray paint (a wide range of vibrant colours), protective gear, caps, and the 'canvas' (this could be a plastic-wrapped wall, wooden panels, or individual canvases). All you need to provide is an outdoor space and a group of excited students ready to dive into the world of urban art. We handle the setup and the cleanup!

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Street art is an outdoor activity, so we always keep an eye on the Dutch weather. If it's just a light drizzle, we can often work under gazebos. If the weather is truly unworkable, we can look at moving the workshop to an indoor hall using low-odour water-based paints, or we can reschedule to a better day. We always work with you to find the best solution.

Trin for trin

Intro and demo: We start with a high-energy demo from a pro artist to get the students hyped and inspired.
Safety first: Every student gets geared up with masks, gloves, and overalls while we explain the 'golden rules' of spraying.
Can control basics: Students learn how to hold the can, swap nozzles (caps), and create different line widths and effects.
Sketching the design: Working in small teams or individually, students plan their tags and pieces on paper first.
The first layer: Time to hit the wall! Students apply their base colours and start filling in their large-scale shapes.
Adding style: Our artists teach 'fades', 'bubbles', and 'shadows' to make the artwork pop and look professional.
Outlining and highlights: This is where the magic happens—sharpening the edges to make the design stand out.
Final touches: Students add stars, drips, or character details to give their work that authentic street art finish.
Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the final masterpiece with a big group photo before we pack everything away.
