How long does a typical university graffiti workshop last?

Most university workshops in Munich last between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough time for a thorough introduction to safety and technique, sketching your concept, and the actual spray painting process. If you have a specific schedule or want a more intensive masterclass, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your event plan exactly.

Can you host the workshop directly on our campus?

Absolutely! While we love hosting groups at our local Munich street art hotspots, we are fully mobile. If your campus has a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated area that complies with safety regulations, we can bring the entire setup—cans, masks, and boards—directly to your university grounds for maximum convenience.

Is the workshop safe for students and what gear is provided?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respirators, protective gloves, and overall suits to keep your clothes clean. Our professional artists supervise every step, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly. We only use professional-grade spray paint that meets European safety standards, making it a safe experience for all participants.

Do students need any previous art experience?

You don't need any prior artistic talent or experience to join! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to secret doodles. Our Munich-based artists will guide you through simple techniques like 'outlining', 'filling', and 'fading' that make anyone's work look impressive. It’s all about the collective experience and having fun.

Can we create one big mural together as a group?

Yes, we can! We offer both individual canvas sessions and large-scale collaborative murals. For university groups, we often recommend a 'Masterpiece Project' where the whole society or faculty works together on one giant wooden wall. It’s a fantastic way to symbolise teamwork and leaves you with a massive piece of art to display.

What is the maximum group size for a student event?

Typically, we cater to groups starting from 10 students up to large-scale faculty events of 100+ people. Because we have a large team of backup artists in Munich, we can scale the event to ensure every student gets enough personal guidance and spray time. Just let us know your expected numbers and we’ll handle the rest.

How does the payment process work for student societies?

We offer total flexibility with our 'pay after' policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. After the workshop in Munich is completed and everyone is happy with their creations, we handle the billing. This makes it much easier for student unions or society treasurers to manage their budgets without financial stress.

Safety first: Suit up in protective gear and learn how to use the FFP3 masks and spray cans correctly.
Mastering the nozzles: Try out different 'caps' to see how they change the spray width from thin lines to fat fills.
Sketching the vision: Grab a marker and map out your design on the board, focusing on layout and scale.
Filling in: Start applying your base colours. This is where the Munich city vibes usually start flowing onto the wall!

Lokal kultur

Munich’s street art scene is a hidden gem that many students miss while stuck in the lecture halls. While the city is known for its classical architecture, spots like the Tumblingerstraße (Munich's Hall of Fame) prove that urban art is thriving. Our workshops tap into this local 'Münchner' spirit, blending the city's orderly charm with the chaotic freedom of graffiti.

Fun Fact: Munich was actually one of the birthplaces of European graffiti in the 1980s! The legendary 'Geltendorf' train was the first 'whole-train' ever painted in Germany, putting Munich on the global street art map long before other cities caught up. ✨
