Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most of our university participants in Nice have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the high-quality piece of art you've managed to create together with your fellow students.

Is the workshop safe and what gear is provided?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specialized indoor spaces. Our instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a fun and risk-free environment for everyone involved.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our standard university workshops in Nice typically last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This includes the introductory talk, technique practice, and the creation of the final masterpiece. We can also adapt the duration to fit into your university's specific schedule or 'Semaine d'Intégration' events. Just let us know your time constraints and we will make it work perfectly!

What is the maximum group size for a student event?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops for small student committees of 10 people or massive university-wide events with over 100 participants. For larger groups, we bring in additional professional artists and set up multiple stations to ensure everyone gets plenty of hands-on time with the cans. No one gets left behind in our creative sessions.

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

In Nice, we are blessed with great weather, but if rain does turn up, we have several options. We can move the event to a covered outdoor location, an indoor studio space, or reschedule to a better day. Since we have a large team of backup artists, we are very resilient to scheduling changes and will always find a solution to keep the creativity flowing.

Do we need to pay everything upfront for the booking?

Not at all! One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'play now, pay later' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront costs or deposits. You can focus on organizing your student event and making sure everyone is excited. Payment is only handled after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience.

Can we choose our own theme or design for the mural?

We love it when students bring their own ideas! If your faculty has a specific theme, logo, or message they want to promote, our artists will help you incorporate it into the design. Whether it's a 'Green Campus' initiative or just celebrating your department's identity, we'll help you sketch out a plan that looks incredible and means something to your group.

Lokal kultur

Nice isn't just about the Promenade des Anglais and pebble beaches; it has a thriving urban soul. From the vibrant murals in the quartier de la Libération to the hidden gems near the port, street art is woven into the city's modern identity. In Nice, the 'art de vivre' meets the 'art de la rue', creating a unique Mediterranean aesthetic that is brighter and bolder than what you might find in Paris or Marseille. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Nice holds an annual street art festival that transforms ordinary facades into giant vertical galleries? The city is becoming a major hub for international muralists!
