Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun Leuven, we prioritise safety above all else. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our professional artists are trained to supervise youth groups, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and that everyone follows the safety guidelines while having a blast. It’s all about creative expression in a controlled, safe environment.

How long does a typical youth project workshop last?

A standard youth project workshop in Leuven usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a short history lesson, technique practice, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or a full-day youth event planned, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your programme’s needs.

Where in Leuven do the workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop at one of Leuven's amazing legal graffiti zones, like the 'fietstunnel' or designated park walls. Alternatively, if you have a youth club or community centre with a suitable outdoor space, we can bring the entire setup to you. If it rains, we can even work on large individual canvases indoors!

Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Whether someone is a natural-born artist or has never touched a spray can before, our mentors guide them through every step. We focus on Vitamin 'F'—Fun! Most participants are amazed at what they can create with just a few professional tips and the right mindset.

What is the minimum group size for a booking?

We recommend a minimum group size of 10 people for youth projects to keep the energy high and the costs low. However, we can accommodate very large groups of up to 100+ participants by bringing in extra artists and setting up multiple stations. No matter the size of your youth group in Leuven, we’ve got you covered!

What materials are included in the workshop?

Everything is included in the price! We provide all the professional spray paint (in a rainbow of colours), caps, masks, gloves, and protective overalls. We also bring sketching materials and boards or canvases. You just need to show up in old clothes and shoes—things you don’t mind getting a little 'artistic' speck of paint on!

Do you offer other types of workshops in Belgium?

While we specialise in youth projects, we also offer amazing sessions for schools, festivals, and even bachelor parties. If you are looking for something different in cities like Antwerp or Brussels, we operate there too! We can also create custom murals or brand activations if your youth organisation wants a permanent piece of art on their walls.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Lokal kultur

Leuven is more than just a historic university city; it's a growing hub for contemporary urban expression. While the Town Hall is a gothic masterpiece, the city's modern soul can be found in the street art hidden around the Vaartkom and the various 'legal walls' supported by the local council. Our workshops celebrate this balance between the old and the new. ✨

Fun fact: Leuven is home to some incredible hidden murals by world-renowned Belgian artists. During our workshops, we often reference these local landmarks to show participants that their hobby can one day become a respected professional career!
