Η εμπειρία
A graffiti workshop isn't just an art lesson; it's a confidence-building powerhouse! Here’s why secondary schools in Nantes love working with us: 🔥
- Boosts creative confidence: Even students who 'can’t draw' find success with spray cans, discovering hidden talents they never knew they had.
- Team building: Working on a large-scale mural encourages communication, shared vision, and lots of laughs.
- Expert guidance: Our artists aren't just talented; they’re great with teenagers and know how to keep the energy high and the focus sharp.
- Stress relief: There’s something incredibly satisfying about the 'psssst' of a spray can—it’s the perfect break from exam stress! 🎤
- Physical & active: No sitting behind desks here; students are on their feet, moving, and creating in the fresh air.
- Professional setup: We handle all the prep and clean-up, leaving you with nothing to do but enjoy the results.
Βήμα προς βήμα
- Intro & inspiration: We start with a high-energy kick-off, looking at the history of street art and showing examples of different styles to get the students' brains buzzing.
- Safe spraying: Our pros demonstrate how to handle the cans properly, focusing on safety, distance, and the importance of using protective gear.
- Sketching the vision: Students grab paper and markers to map out their tags or 'pieces', learning about letter structure and flow before touching the paint.
- Nozzle knowledge: We teach the difference between 'skinny' and 'fat' caps, showing how to create fine lines or fill large areas quickly.
- Practice run: Everyone gets a chance to practice basic strokes—lines, dots, and fades—on a practice wall to get a feel for the pressure.
- The main event: It’s time to hit the big boards! Students work together or individually to bring their sketches to life in full colour.
- Adding the 'pop': We show the kids how to add 3D effects, highlights, and outlines that really make their artwork stand out from the background.
- Grand reveal: Once the paint is dry, the group steps back to admire the collective mural, followed by a fun group photo session!

Τοπική κουλτούρα
Τέχνη του δρόμου στην πόλη Nantes
Nantes is a city that breathes creativity, from the mechanical wonder of the Great Elephant to the vibrant murals found in the Quartier de la Création on the Île de Nantes. It’s the perfect backdrop for a graffiti workshop! Local street art culture here is legendary, with legal walls and hidden gems scattered throughout the city, reflecting the rebellious and innovative spirit of the Pays de la Loire. 🏛️
Fun Fact: Did you know that the former industrial shipyards of Nantes have been transformed into a massive open-air gallery? The city actively supports urban art, making it one of the most 'graffiti-friendly' spots in France. We draw inspiration from this local 'Nantais' flair to show students how street art can rejuvenate urban spaces and tell a story. ✨
