Do I need any prior graffiti or art experience to join this training?

Absolutely! Our teacher training in Leuven is specifically designed to accommodate all skill levels. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold a spray can, pressure control, and nozzle types—before moving into more complex techniques. Most educators who join us have never touched a spray can before, and by the end of the session, they feel confident enough to lead their own student groups. We provide a supportive, judgement-free environment.

Is spray painting safe for a school environment?

Safety is our top priority. We use high-quality, low-odour spray paints and provide all necessary protective gear, including professional-grade masks, gloves, and overalls. During the session, we teach you how to set up a safe workspace for your students, including proper ventilation and distance protocols. You will leave the workshop with a comprehensive understanding of how to manage a graffiti project without compromising anyone's health or safety.

Are all materials included in the training cost?

Yes, we provide all the gear! This includes a wide variety of premium spray cans, various nozzle types (caps), protective clothing, and practice surfaces. We also provide digital resources and a physical guide you can take back to your school. You only need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps some clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case!

How long does the teacher training session last?

A standard professional development session in Leuven typically lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the theoretical background, hands-on practice, and a final collaborative piece. If you have specific time constraints or want a more in-depth full-day masterclass, we can certainly customise the schedule to fit your school's professional development day requirements perfectly.

Can the workshop take place at our school?

We are very flexible! We can host the training at one of our vibrant local partner spots in Leuven, or our expert artists can come directly to your school or community centre. Bringing the workshop to your campus is often the best way to assess your specific facilities and show you exactly where and how you can set up a permanent or temporary graffiti wall for your students.

Is this training only focused on spray painting?

While graffiti is our main focus, the techniques we teach—such as colour theory, layering, and stencil work—are highly transferable to many other art forms. We also discuss how to integrate street art history and urban culture into your broader social studies or history curriculum. This training is about giving you a new 'hook' to engage students who might struggle with traditional fine arts.

How does the payment process work for schools?

We understand that school budgets and schedules can be tricky. That’s why we don't require any upfront payment to secure your booking. You can arrange the training, get everything confirmed, and then handle the payment after the workshop has been successfully completed. We want the process to be as stress-free as possible for educators and administrators alike.
