Do we need any previous artistic experience or talent?

Absolutely not! Our Edinburgh team building workshops are designed for everyone, from those who haven't picked up a pen in years to seasoned doodles. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. You’ll be amazed at the masterpiece your team can create when you follow our proven 'step-by-step' method. It’s all about the experience and the laughs, not just the final result.

What should we wear and is it messy?

We’ve got you covered. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and shoe covers to keep your office wear pristine. While our spray paint is high-grade, it is permanent, so we always recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on, just in case. Safety masks (FFP2/FFP3) are also provided to ensure everyone breathes easy while they work their magic.

Can you come to our office or do we go to a studio?

We are incredibly flexible. We can host your team building event at one of our vibrant partner street art locations in Edinburgh, or we can bring the entire setup to your office or a rented venue. If we come to you, we use specialized floor protection and temporary wooden walls or canvases to ensure we leave no trace behind—except for the incredible art you've created! We handle all the heavy lifting and setup.

How long does a typical team building session last?

A standard team building session typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the safety briefing, technique practice, individual sketching, and the final collaborative mural project. We can easily scale the duration to fit into your busy corporate schedule or expand it for a full-day 'deep dive' creative retreat. We'll work with you to find the perfect timing for your team's needs.

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

Edinburgh weather can be unpredictable, but we’re prepared! Most of our workshop locations have indoor or sheltered options. If you've booked an outdoor session and the Scottish weather decides not to cooperate, we have backup plans to move the activity indoors or use high-quality gazebos. We also have a pool of backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead no matter what—we’ve never cancelled a workshop yet!

When do we have to pay for the workshop?

One of the biggest advantages of working with Graffitifun is our 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your Edinburgh event today to secure your preferred date and time, and you only pay via invoice after the workshop has been successfully completed. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to be 100% satisfied before a single penny changes hands. It's totally risk-free booking.

Η εμπειρία

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team away day? It’s more than just painting; it’s about breaking down barriers and sparking innovation. Here’s why your team will love it:

Total inclusivity: You don't need to be Picasso; everyone can contribute to the final masterpiece. 🎨
Stress relief: There’s something incredibly satisfying about the 'psshht' of a spray can that beats any stress ball. ✨
Ownership: Your team creates something tangible that can actually be hung in your office later. 🏆
Communication: Planning a large-scale mural requires real-time problem solving and clear communication. 🎤
Zero risk: With our 'pay after' policy and backup artists, your event is guaranteed to be a success. 💪

Βήμα προς βήμα

The warm-up: We start with a quick intro to graffiti history and the basics of spray can safety.
First lines: Each team member gets their own space to practice basic techniques like 'fats' and 'thins'.
Sketching the vision: Your team brainstorms a theme—perhaps your company values or a new project goal.
Outline phase: Under the guidance of our pros, you'll start sketching the main shapes on the large canvas.
Adding the 'fill': This is where the colour happens! Learn how to layer shades for that classic street art pop.
The 3D effect: We teach you how to add shadows and highlights to make your letters jump off the wall.
The crisp outline: Use black or white to clean up the edges and make the design look professional.
The final reveal: Step back, enjoy the masterpiece, and take plenty of team photos for the office wall!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Τοπική κουλτούρα

Edinburgh isn't just about historic castles and cobblestone wynds; it has a pulse of modern creativity that’s begging to be explored. From the hidden gems in Leith to the legal walls that showcase incredible local talent, the city is a canvas waiting for your input. We love bringing teams into this environment where the traditional meets the contemporary. It’s the perfect backdrop for a team building activity that feels authentic and uniquely 'Auld Reekie'.

Fun fact: While the Royal Mile is famous for history, the nearby areas host annual street art festivals that have completely transformed Edinburgh's urban landscape into a world-class gallery!
