- Intro and history: We kick things off with a brief, energetic talk about the roots of graffiti culture and how it evolved into modern street art.
- Safety briefing: Students are fitted with protective gear and taught the 'golden rules' of using spray cans responsibly and safely.
- Mastering the nozzle: Our artists demonstrate different caps and pressure techniques. Students start by practicing basic lines, dots, and fades on practice boards.
- Sketching the vision: Before hitting the main wall, students plan their designs on paper, focusing on letter structure, 'tags', and 'throw-ups'.
- The first layer: Time to go big! Students start filling in the large shapes of the group mural or their individual canvases under expert guidance.
- Outline and detail: This is where the art pops. We teach students how to add sharp outlines and highlights to make their work look professional.
- Creative finishing touches: Students add 'bubbles', 'stars', or 'drips' to personalise their work and add that authentic street art flair.
- The big reveal: We take a moment to admire the collective work, snap group photos, and discuss the creative journey the students just completed.
