Is the workshop safe for people with physical or cognitive disabilities?

Absolutely! We prioritize safety above all else. Our graffiti artists are trained to work with individuals with various disabilities. We use low-odour, non-toxic spray paints where possible and provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. We also ensure the workshop space in Ciudad Guayana is free of hazards and accessible for everyone involved, maintaining a high staff-to-participant ratio for constant supervision.

How do you adapt the street art techniques for special needs?

We understand that every individual is unique. If a participant has limited mobility or sensory sensitivities, we adapt the session accordingly. This includes using larger nozzles for easier spraying, providing seated stations, or using alternative tools like paint markers. We work closely with carers and family members in Ciudad Guayana to ensure the environment is comfortable and the pace is just right for the group's specific needs.

What should participants wear to the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' spray on! While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a messy business. In the warm climate of Ciudad Guayana, breathable fabrics are a great choice. We'll provide all the professional art supplies, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm and creativity.

How long does the workshop typically last?

For our special needs programs, we generally suggest a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is usually perfect for maintaining engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible! If your group in Ciudad Guayana needs a shorter session with more breaks or a longer, more relaxed pace, we can customise the schedule to fit your specific requirements.

Can you host the workshop at our specific location in Ciudad Guayana?

Our workshops are designed to be mobile! We can host the session at a dedicated outdoor spot in Ciudad Guayana, or we can come to your facility, school, or community centre. All we need is a well-ventilated area (ideally outdoors) and a wall or mobile boards to spray on. If you don't have a venue, let us know, and we'll help find the perfect local spot for your creative journey.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional artists will guide everyone through the basics, from holding the can to creating simple shapes and vibrant fills. The goal of our special needs program in Venezuela is expression and enjoyment, not technical perfection. We celebrate every stroke of the spray can, ensuring everyone leaves feeling like a true street artist.

Cultura local

Ciudad Guayana is a city built on the grand meeting point of the Orinoco and Caroní rivers, and that same spirit of "merging" inspires our workshops. Just as the city connects the industrial and the natural, our street art sessions connect people of all abilities through the universal language of colour. The local street art scene in Venezuela is vibrant and resilient, and we are proud to bring that energy to the community in Puerto Ordaz and San Félix. 🎨

Fun fact: Ciudad Guayana is home to the stunning La Llovizna Park. Did you know the mist from the waterfalls can sometimes create natural rainbows? We try to capture that same spectrum of colour in every mural we create!
