How long does a typical graffiti communion workshop last?

Most of our Manchester Communion parties last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning technical skills and having plenty of time to work on a masterpiece. We can adjust the timing to fit into your party schedule, ensuring the kids have time for cake and other celebrations before or after the graffiti fun begins!

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks for every participant. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially chosen indoor spaces. Our artists are fully trained to supervise children, ensuring everyone uses the spray cans correctly and stays clean and safe throughout the session.

What kind of space do I need to provide for the workshop?

Ideally, we need a flat outdoor space with a wall or fence where we can set up our mobile plastic film 'walls'. If you are hosting the party at a venue in Manchester, we can usually set up in a car park or garden. If you don't have a location, let us know! We can often recommend local spots or find a solution that works for your group.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

The weather in Manchester can be unpredictable, but we don't let it stop the fun! If rain is forecast, we can often set up under gazebos or move to an indoor location that allows for spray painting. We always have backup plans in place and will communicate with you leading up to the day to ensure the celebration goes off without a hitch.

Do the children need to be 'artistic' to enjoy this?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our professional street artists will guide the children through every step, from basic lines to advanced shading. We focus on 'controlled' graffiti, meaning we help them achieve a result they can be proud of, regardless of their previous artistic experience or natural drawing ability.

How do I pay, and is there a deposit?

No upfront deposit is required to book your Manchester session. We believe in the quality of our workshops, so you only pay after the event has taken place and you are 100% satisfied. This gives you total peace of mind when planning such an important celebration as a First Holy Communion.

Can the kids take their artwork home with them?

Absolutely! We provide high-quality blank canvases for the kids to work on. Once the paint is dry, they can take their unique street art home as a permanent souvenir of the Communion party. It’s way better than a standard party bag, as they get to keep something they actually created themselves!

Lokalna kultura

Manchester is the beating heart of UK street art, with world-famous murals scattered from Stevenson Square to the backstreets of Ancoats. Our workshops tap into this local heritage, giving Manchester kids the chance to join a long line of Mancunian creatives. We don't just teach painting; we share the culture that makes this city so iconic. ✨

Fun fact: Did you know Manchester hosts one of the largest street art festivals in the North? The city's walls are constantly changing, making it the perfect inspiration for your little artist's first foray into the world of graffiti!
