Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely not! Our Braga teacher training is designed for all skill levels. We focus on teaching you the technical 'how-to' so you can explain it to your students. Whether you are a fine arts expert or haven't touched a spray can since school, our mentors will guide you through the basics of can control, nozzle types, and safety protocols until you feel confident leading a class yourself.

What safety protocols are covered in the professional development session?

Safety is our top priority. We cover everything from the importance of high-quality respirators and nitrile gloves to choosing well-ventilated locations. You'll learn how to set up a safe workspace for students, manage 'overspray' concerns, and ensure all materials are stored correctly. We provide all the necessary protective gear during the session so you can experience the standard we recommend for your own future workshops.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the training?

Yes, every participant receives a digital Graffitifun certificate of completion. This document outlines the hours spent and the specific techniques covered, such as lettering, fading, and stencil work. It’s a fantastic addition to your professional portfolio and serves as evidence of your commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and your ability to bring contemporary urban art into the traditional classroom setting.

What materials are included in the teacher training package?

We provide a comprehensive kit including professional-grade spray cans (low pressure for better control), various nozzles (caps), protective masks, gloves, and coveralls. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that’s a mobile wall or a designated legal space in Braga. You just need to wear comfortable old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a few speckles of paint on, just in case!

How does the 'no upfront payment' policy work for schools?

We understand that school budgets and teacher schedules are tight. We offer maximum flexibility with our 'pay after the workshop' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront costs; we focus on delivering a high-quality educational experience first. Once the session is complete and you’re 100% satisfied with the training received, we handle the administrative side of the payment. This makes it much easier for departments to book.

How long does a typical training session last?

A standard professional development session usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for a bit of theory regarding street art history, a deep dive into technical skills, and a hands-on 'free-paint' session where you apply what you've learned. If you have a large group of staff from a Braga school district, we can also arrange full-day intensive masterclasses tailored to your specific curriculum needs.

Lokalna kultura

Braga might be known for its stunning baroque churches and the historic Bom Jesus do Monte, but beneath its ancient surface lies a growing and rhythmic street art heartbeat. From the colourful murals tucked away in the São Victor district to the creative energy found near the GNRation building, Braga is a city that respects its past while embracing the new. By bringing graffiti training to your school or community centre, you're tapping into this local cultural evolution. We love working in Braga because the city's unique mix of religious heritage and youthful student energy provides an incredible backdrop for artistic experimentation. Our workshops reflect this spirit, encouraging you to find your own 'Bracarense' style while mastering the global language of aerosol art.
