Do I need to be artistic to join a graffiti workshop?

No prior artistic skill is needed at all! Our onboarding workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional artists will guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to layering colours. You’ll be amazed at the high-quality piece you can produce in just one session. It’s all about letting go of perfectionism and having a great time with your new team or group in Hamburg.

What should I wear and is it safe?

We provide high-quality, breathable face masks, disposable gloves, and protective overalls to keep your clothes clean. However, spray paint can be unpredictable, so we strongly recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable trainers that you don't mind getting a little dusty. We take safety seriously, ensuring everyone follows proper ventilation and handling protocols throughout the entire experience.

How long does a typical session last?

Standard workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a crash course in techniques, and plenty of time for you to complete your masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule to stick to for your Hamburg event, we can often adjust the duration to fit your itinerary perfectly.

Where exactly in Hamburg do the workshops take place?

In Hamburg, we have access to several legal 'Hall of Fame' walls where public painting is encouraged, providing an authentic street vibe. Alternatively, if you have a private space or want us to come to your office, we can set up mobile wooden partitions or large canvases. We are flexible and can bring the street art experience directly to your chosen location.

Are materials like spray cans and masks included?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a huge variety of colours, caps for different line widths, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the surfaces to paint on. You just need to bring your energy and perhaps a camera to capture the progress of your artwork. There are no hidden material costs with Graffitifun.

What happens if it rains on the day of my workshop?

Weather in Hamburg can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. If rain is forecast, we can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space using low-odour water-based paints and canvases. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead no matter what. We always check the forecast 48 hours in advance to make final arrangements.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Helyi kultúra

Hamburg has a deep-rooted connection to urban culture. From the legendary murals in the Karoviertel to the ever-evolving legal walls in Altona, the city breathes creativity. Street art here isn't just decoration; it’s a form of storytelling that reflects the city's rebellious and maritime spirit. By joining a workshop here, you aren't just spraying paint—you’re stepping into a legacy that includes some of Europe’s most famous graffiti crews.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Hamburg is home to some of the world's most famous "Stolpersteine" and elaborate mural projects that turned grey bunkers into colourful monuments? Art is truly in the city's DNA! ⚓
