Do we need any prior art experience to participate in the retreat?

Absolutely no experience is required! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and simple lines before moving on to more complex techniques. Most of our retreat participants have never held a spray can before, but by the end of the session, they are always amazed by the vibrant, high-quality artwork they've managed to create together. We're here to guide you every step of the way!

What should our team wear to the graffiti workshop?

For our Tilburg workshops, we suggest wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be unpredictable and paint mist sometimes finds its way onto your sleeves or footwear. It’s best to be comfortable and worry-free so you can fully immerse yourself in the creative flow without stressing about your outfit!

Is the spray paint safe to use during the session?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide professional-grade FFP3 masks to ensure you aren't breathing in any fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas, often outdoors at approved legal spots like the Hall of Fame area. Our artists are highly trained in safety protocols and will provide a thorough briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

Can we take our graffiti artwork home with us?

Yes! One of the best things about our retreat workshops is that you get to keep the fruits of your labour. If you work on individual canvases, you can take those home immediately. For large group murals or team pieces, we can discuss transport options or you can take photos of the temporary masterpiece. It's a fantastic physical memento of your collective creativity and the time spent together in Tilburg.

Can you host the workshop at our specific retreat location?

We are very flexible! While we have our favourite 'Hall of Fame' spots in Tilburg that offer an authentic street art atmosphere, we can also bring the retreat to you. If your hotel or office has a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated indoor area, we can set up our mobile units. Just let us know your preferred location when booking, and we’ll handle the logistics to make it happen.

How long does a typical creative retreat session last?

A standard retreat workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the completion of a full-scale creative project. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high energy and engagement without it feeling rushed. However, if you have a specific schedule for your Tilburg retreat, we can easily tailor the duration to fit your itinerary perfectly.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We don't have a strict minimum, but our retreat packages are ideally suited for groups of 10 or more. For very large corporate retreats, we can accommodate hundreds of participants by bringing in extra professional artists and setting up multiple graffiti stations. This ensures everyone gets personal attention and plenty of time to spray. Regardless of your group size, we have the staff and equipment to scale the experience to your needs.

Helyi kultúra

The Tilburg street art vibe

Tilburg is a city that breathes creativity, successfully transitioning from a textile powerhouse to a modern cultural hub. The city is home to the famous Hall of Fame near the Spoorzone, a legendary spot where street art is celebrated and encouraged. This raw, industrial aesthetic makes Tilburg one of the most authentic locations in the Netherlands for a graffiti retreat. You'll feel the local "Kruikenzeiker" spirit as you transform blank surfaces into colourful expressions of your team's identity.

Fun Fact: Tilburg is home to one of the largest legal graffiti walls in the Benelux, located in the Spoorzone area. It serves as a constantly evolving outdoor gallery that changes almost every day! 🎨
