Lépésről lépésre
- Introduction & Culture: We start with a high-energy talk about the history of graffiti, from New York subways to the modern street art found in Almere's city centre.
- Safety First: Students are geared up with professional masks, gloves, and overalls while learning the essential 'do's and don'ts' of spray painting.
- Mastering the Can: Our artists demonstrate basic techniques, teaching students how to control pressure, distance, and angle to create different effects.
- Sketching the Concept: Working in small groups or individually, students sketch their ideas on paper, focusing on letter structure and bold 'wildstyle' or 'bubble' fonts.
- First Lines: It's time to hit the boards! Students apply their first layers of paint, learning how to fill large areas efficiently.
- Adding Detail: We move on to shadows, highlights, and the all-important 'outline' that makes the graffiti pop off the surface.
- Group Collaboration: For school projects, we often work together on a massive 'masterpiece' that represents the school's values or a specific theme.
- The Big Reveal & Photos: Once the 'tags' and 'pieces' are finished, we take group photos – a perfect memory for the school yearbook or social media.
- Clean-up: We ensure the site is left spotless, packing away all materials and leaving only the finished artwork behind.

Almere is a city built on modern design and forward-thinking architecture, making it the perfect canvas for urban art. From the sleek lines of the City Centre to the creative vibes in Almere Haven, the city has a growing appreciation for the 'A-town' street art scene. Our workshops often take inspiration from local landmarks or the unique polder landscape that surrounds the city. We love connecting students with the urban identity of Almere, showing them that art isn't just something found in museums in Amsterdam—it’s alive right here on their own streets. Whether we are setting up near the Weerwater or at one of the city's many legal graffiti zones, the local energy always inspires incredible work from the students.
