Do we need any previous artistic experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most of our university participants have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, including safety, can control, and basic stroke techniques. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the high-quality mural your group has created. We focus on a supportive, creative environment where everyone can flourish regardless of their previous artistic experience or skill level.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need for a successful workshop. This includes high-quality spray paint in a wide variety of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade respiratory masks. We also provide the canvas or wall space and expert guidance from our local Berlin street artists. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of dust on!

Can the workshop take place on our university campus?

We are extremely flexible! We can host workshops at various legal graffiti zones across Berlin, such as Mauerpark or professional studios. If your university campus has a suitable outdoor space and you have the necessary permissions, we can often bring the workshop directly to you. We use mobile walls or large canvases to ensure we leave the environment exactly as we found it.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction to the history of Berlin street art, a safety briefing, technique practice, and the final execution of your collaborative masterpiece. We can also adjust the duration to fit into a specific seminar schedule or a jam-packed orientation week if required.

Do we need to pay for the workshop in advance?

No, you don't have to worry about upfront costs. We operate on a 'play first, pay later' basis, meaning you only pay after the workshop has been completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any transaction occurs. We accept various payment methods and can provide formal invoicing for university administration and student union departments to make the process easy.

What safety measures are in place during the workshop?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks to protect against fumes, as well as gloves and protective suits. Our artists are trained in site safety and ensure that the workshop takes place in a well-ventilated outdoor area. We also have a large team of backup artists available, so your event will never be cancelled due to staff illness.

Can we choose a specific theme for our graffiti mural?

Absolutely. Many student groups choose to create a mural that reflects their faculty, university values, or a specific social theme. Our artists will work with you during the planning phase to sketch out a concept that aligns with your vision. It’s a fantastic way to create a lasting memory or a piece of art that can be displayed in your student union.

Helyi kultúra

Berlin isn't just a city; it’s a living, breathing canvas. From the iconic East Side Gallery to the hidden gems in Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, street art is woven into the very fabric of the capital. Our workshops tap into this rich heritage, giving students a chance to participate in a culture that has defined Berlin since the fall of the Wall. We often host sessions near historic spots like Mauerpark, allowing you to soak in the local atmosphere while you create. In a city where every corner tells a story through paint, your university group becomes part of that narrative, learning the difference between 'tags', 'throw-ups', and 'pieces' in the heart of Germany's creative hub.

Árképzés
