What is the minimum age for youth project participants?

Our youth projects generally cater to young people aged 10 and up. At this age, they have the physical strength to manage the spray cans and the focus to follow safety instructions. We can adapt our teaching style to suit various age groups, from pre-teens to older adolescents, ensuring everyone feels included and capable of creating something they are proud of while maintaining a safe environment.

Is it safe for teenagers to use spray cans?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls for every participant. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated areas, and our professional artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use modern, low-pressure paint that is easier to control, making the experience both safe and enjoyable for young creators.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

The weather in Frankfurt doesn't have to stop the fun! If we are working outdoors and rain is forecast, we often have access to covered areas or can reschedule the session. For many youth projects, we can also work indoors using specially prepared canvases or mobile wooden walls, provided the space has adequate ventilation. We always monitor the forecast and stay in close contact with you.

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

Youth project workshops typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their 'tagging' and 'throwing', and then collaborate on a larger masterpiece. We find this duration is perfect for keeping energy levels high without losing focus. If you have a specific schedule to meet, we can easily tailor the timing to fit your needs.

Do the participants need to have any artistic talent?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artists are experts at breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, manageable steps. We often find that young people who claim they 'can't draw' are the ones most surprised by what they achieve with a spray can. It’s all about building confidence and trying something new in a supportive, creative atmosphere.

Where in Frankfurt do the workshops take place?

We are highly mobile! We can host the workshop at a location of your choice in Frankfurt, such as a youth centre, school playground, or community space. Alternatively, we can help arrange a session at one of the legal 'Hall of Fame' graffiti walls in the city. If you don't have a venue, just let us know, and we'll help find the perfect spot.

Will the kids work on individual pieces or a group mural?

For youth projects, we believe in a collective approach. While we start with individual practice so everyone gets a feel for the can, the 'main event' is usually a large collaborative mural. This encourages teamwork, communication, and shared pride in a massive piece of art. However, if you'd prefer everyone to work on their own individual canvases to take home, we can certainly arrange that too!

Az élmény

Why choose graffiti for your next youth initiative? It’s more than just paint on a wall—it’s a powerful tool for engagement and personal growth. Here’s why our workshops are a hit in Frankfurt:

Instant "Cool" Factor: Let’s face it, graffiti is way more exciting than traditional arts and crafts. It gets even the most "too-cool-for-school" teens involved! 🎉
Boosts Confidence: Seeing a giant mural come to life from their own hands gives young people a massive sense of achievement.
Teamwork in Action: Creating a collaborative piece requires communication, compromise, and working together toward a shared goal. 🤝
Professional Mentorship: Our artists aren't just teachers; they are active members of the street art scene who inspire through their own passion.
Safe & Legal: We teach the difference between illegal vandalism and the beauty of legal street art, promoting a positive way to express themselves. ✊
Total Flexibilty: No upfront payment is required, and we have backup artists ready to go so your project never gets cancelled!

Lépésről lépésre

Intro & inspiration: We start with a high-energy intro about graffiti culture and look at some epic examples to get the ideas flowing.
Safety first: Everyone gets kitted out in protective gear and learns the golden rules of using spray cans responsibly.
Mastering the can: Our pros demonstrate basic techniques—how to hold the can, control pressure, and create clean lines.
Sketching the vision: Before hitting the wall, the group collaborates on a sketch, deciding on colours, themes, and lettering.
The first layer: Time to start! Participants begin filling in the large shapes of the design under our artists' guidance.
Outlining & details: This is where the magic happens. We teach the group how to add 'pop' with Sharp outlines and highlights.
The final "style" techniques: Learn how to add shadows, 3D effects, and those classic graffiti drips for an authentic look.
The big reveal: We step back, admire the massive collaborative mural, and take plenty of photos for the gram!
Clean up & wrap: We pack up the gear, leaving the site tidy and the participants feeling like absolute legends.
