What exactly is an anti-vandalism graffiti workshop?

An anti-vandalism graffiti workshop is a proactive educational experience. Instead of just painting, we teach the history, the 'rules' of the street, and the difference between destruction and creation. Participants learn to respect public spaces by understanding the effort that goes into legitimate street art. It’s about channeling that rebellious energy into something beautiful and legal that the whole of Mons can be proud of!

Is the workshop safe for teenagers and school groups?

Absolutely! We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. We use professional-grade spray paint and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated outdoor areas or legal spray zones. Our artists are expert instructors who prioritise safety and supervision, ensuring that the only thing 'dangerous' about the day is how cool your final piece of art looks.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to draw simple lines. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from the first sketch to the final highlight. You’ll be amazed at the masterpiece you can create in just a couple of hours.

Where in Mons do these workshops take place?

We are totally flexible. We can host the workshop at one of our partner legal graffiti walls in Mons, or we can bring the experience to you using mobile wooden partitions or plastic 'cellograff' walls. This makes it a perfect activity for school playgrounds, youth centres, or community festivals. We handle all the setup and the cleanup, leaving the location exactly as we found it.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard anti-vandalism sessions usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief introduction to street art culture, a safety demo, practice drills, and the creation of a large-scale collective mural. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, just let us know—we can tailor the duration to fit your event perfectly.

How does the payment process work?

We believe in keeping things simple and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book with Graffitifun. You can settle the payment after the workshop is complete and you’re 100% satisfied with the experience. We accept various payment methods and will provide a clear invoice for your records. It's all about trust and making sure you have a great time!

What should participants bring with them on the day?

We recommend wearing comfortable old clothes and sneakers that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide full protective suits, spray paint can be a bit unpredictable! Other than that, just bring your energy and creativity. We provide all the professional spray cans, caps, masks, gloves, and the painting surface. We’ve got the 'kit' covered so you can focus on the art.
