How long does a graffiti birthday party in Almere usually last?

Most of our kids' birthday parties in Almere last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning the history of street art, practicing basic spray-painting techniques, and completing a personal masterpiece. If you have a larger group or want a more intensive session, we can easily extend the duration to fit your party schedule perfectly.

What is the minimum age for a graffiti workshop?

We recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 years old. At this age, children have the physical strength to press the spray nozzles and the focus to follow safety instructions. We use high-quality, low-odour paints and provide all necessary protective gear to ensure that every budding artist stays safe and clean while they unleash their inner Banksy.

Is it safe for children to use spray cans?

Safety is our top priority. Every participant is provided with a high-quality overall or apron, gloves, and a mask to prevent inhalation of fumes. Our professional artists supervise the kids at all times, teaching them how to handle the cans correctly. We also use professional-grade paint that is safe for use in controlled, outdoor or well-ventilated environments.

Will the kids' clothes get ruined by the paint?

Don't worry about the mess! We provide protective clothing for all children to wear over their normal clothes. While the paint is permanent on the boards, our gear does a great job of keeping it off the kids. We do suggest that guests wear 'play clothes' or something they don't mind getting a tiny bit dusty, just in case!

Do the children get to take their artwork home?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of our Almere birthday workshops is that every child gets to take home their own personal artwork on a canvas or wooden board. It’s the ultimate party bag gift! Alternatively, for a more collaborative vibe, the group can work together on one massive mural that the birthday boy or girl gets to keep.

Where in Almere do the workshops take place?

Almere has several great legal graffiti spots and outdoor areas perfect for workshops. We can host the party at one of our partner locations in the city, or if you have a suitable private outdoor space with permission, we can often come to you. We always ensure the location is safe, accessible, and provides the right atmosphere for creativity.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

In the Netherlands, we are used to a bit of drizzle! If the weather looks bad, we can often move the workshop to a sheltered or indoor area that is well-ventilated. In Almere, we have access to various indoor backup locations. If extreme weather occurs, we are flexible with rescheduling to ensure your child has the best possible experience.

Almere is a city built on modern design and bold architecture, making it the perfect backdrop for a contemporary art form like graffiti. From the sleek lines of the City Centre to the creative vibes of Almere Haven, this city has always embraced the new and the 'different'. Our workshops tap into this local spirit of innovation. We often host sessions near legal urban art spots where the kids can feel like part of the local creative community.
