Is spray paint safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! We use high-quality water-based spray paints for our primary school workshops in Las Palmas. These are low-odour and much friendlier for younger lungs and the environment than traditional aerosols. We also provide all necessary protective gear, including gloves and masks, to ensure every child stays clean and safe while they explore their inner artist. Safety is our number one priority during every session.

Do the students need to have prior drawing skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners. Our professional street artists guide the children through every step, from basic lines to filling in colours. We focus on 'controlled creativity', meaning we provide templates and techniques that ensure every student walks away with something they are proud of. It’s all about building confidence and having a blast with new tools.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Typically, our school workshops in Gran Canaria last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high energy and focus without the children getting tired. We can easily adapt the timing to fit into your school’s lesson blocks or morning schedules. We handle all the setup and pack-down, so the teaching staff doesn't have to worry about a thing!

Where in Las Palmas do the workshops take place?

We can bring the street art vibe right to your school playground or sport field! We use large mobile plastic walls or canvases, so there is zero permanent mess left behind. If your school doesn't have a suitable outdoor area, we can also look for a nearby public space or local park in Las Palmas where we have permission to work. We are very flexible with locations!

What is the ideal group size for a school session?

We recommend a maximum of 15 to 20 students per artist to ensure every child gets enough hands-on guidance and spray time. For larger year groups or entire primary schools, we simply bring more professional artists from our team and set up multiple stations. This way, everyone stays active and nobody is stood around waiting for their turn to paint.

What should the children wear on the day?

We recommend that students wear old clothes or their PE kits, just in case! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be a bit messy when kids get truly enthusiastic. It’s best if they wear something you don't mind getting a tiny splash of colour on. Don't worry, the memories of the day will last much longer than any paint spots!
