Cusco is well-served for visitors. For those arriving by air, Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport is the primary gateway, located a short drive from the city centre. Taxis and private transfers are readily available from the airport. If you are arriving by train, the main railway station for services from Machu Picchu is Poroy Station, located just outside the city, with connections into Cusco itself. Other train services might arrive at Wanchaq Station, closer to the city centre.
Within Cusco, public transport options include local buses and colectivos, which are a common way to navigate the city. Taxis are also plentiful. For groups arriving by coach, we can advise on drop-off points that minimise walking distances to the workshop venue. Parking in the city centre can be limited, so we often recommend public transport or pre-arranged transfers for larger groups.
