Do I need to be artistic or have drawing skills to join?

Absolutely no art experience is needed! Our Glasgow workshops are designed for beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through everything from how to hold a spray can to mastering complex layering techniques. Most people who join us have never touched a spray can before and leave with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. It's all about having fun and letting your creativity flow!

What should I bring with me to the workshop?

We provide everything you need for the perfect Glasgow street art experience. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or practice boards. Just make sure to wear comfortable, older clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on, just in case!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide all participants with professional-grade protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoor spaces. Our instructors are highly experienced in managing groups and ensure that everyone follows safety protocols while having a great time. It’s a safe, controlled, and exciting environment for everyone involved.

Can children participate in the Glasgow workshops?

Yes, we love hosting young creators! Our public art workshops are generally suitable for ages 6 and up. For younger children, we use water-based spray paints and simplified techniques to ensure they have a blast while staying safe. It's a fantastic way for kids to develop their motor skills and express their imagination in a vibrant, tactile way that traditional school art classes might not offer.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

We are very flexible with our booking policy! Unlike many other providers, we don't require upfront payment to secure your date. You can pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied. If you need to change your date or group size, just let us know as soon as possible. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event never gets cancelled.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Our standard public art workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe is perfect for learning the basics, practicing your tag, and completing a final masterpiece without feeling rushed. If you are looking for a more intensive masterclass or a shorter taster session for a festival, we can definitely customise the duration to fit your specific schedule and needs.

Where in Glasgow do the workshops take place?

We can host workshops all over Glasgow! We have several preferred outdoor and indoor locations throughout the city, from the creative hubs in the West End to industrial spaces near the Clyde. If you have a specific venue in mind—like a school playground, a backyard, or a community centre—we can usually bring the workshop directly to you, provided there is enough ventilation.

Lokale cultuur

Glasgow is a city that breathes art. From the stunning murals of the City Centre Mural Trail to the hidden gems in the West End, street art is woven into the very fabric of the city. Our Glasgow workshops pay homage to this local culture, drawing inspiration from the world-famous artists who have graced our tenement walls. We celebrate the "no-nonsense" creative spirit of the Clyde, turning industrial spaces into temporary galleries of colour. 🏗️

🎨 Fun Fact: Glasgow was the very first city in the UK to create a dedicated 'Mural Trail' to revitalise its urban landscape, proving that street art is a vital part of the city's modern identity!

Whether we are setting up near the iconic Barrowland Ballroom or in a creative space in Finnieston, you’ll feel the authentic pulse of Glasgow’s urban art movement. We don't just teach you how to paint; we show you how to see the city as an infinite canvas. 🔥
