Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality FFP3 face masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep clothes clean. Our professional artists are trained to supervise youth groups, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and responsibly in a well-ventilated outdoor environment. Safety briefings are always held before we even touch a can!

Do the kids need to have prior drawing skills?

No experience is needed at all! Our Toulouse workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total beginners to those who are already sketching in their notebooks. Our artists guide the group through the basic techniques—like how to hold the can and control the pressure—before moving on to more complex designs. It's all about learning by doing and having a blast while doing it.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old trainers that you don't mind getting a little 'artistic' on. While we provide protective suits and gloves, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto shoes or sleeves occasionally. Think of it as a badge of honour from your creative journey! We'll handle the rest of the gear like paint and masks.

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

Our youth project workshops typically last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, brainstorming a design, practicing techniques, and finally creating the main masterpiece. We find this timeframe keeps the energy high and the focus sharp without anyone getting tired. It’s the perfect duration for a High School trip or a youth club outing!

Where in Toulouse do these workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various legal graffiti spots across Toulouse, or if you have a suitable outdoor space at your youth centre or school with permission, we can bring the party to you. If the weather looks shaky, we always try to coordinate a covered outdoor area so the creative flow doesn't have to stop just because of a little rain.

Can the participants take their artwork home?

Definitely! While we often work on a large shared mural to encourage teamwork, we can also arrange for participants to spray individual canvases or boards. This is a popular option for youth projects because it allows every person to take home a physical piece of their own street art to hang on their bedroom wall. Just let us know your preference when booking.

Krok po kroku

The warm-up: We start with a quick intro to the history of graffiti and how it evolved from the streets to the galleries.
Safety first: Everyone gets suited up in masks and gloves while we explain the 'golden rules' of using spray cans safely.
Master the tech: Participants learn 'Can Control'—how to make thin lines, fat fills, and cool gradients.
Sketching the vision: We brainstorm a theme together. Whether it's a team name or a local Toulouse symbol, we get it down on paper first.
The outline: Our pro artists help the group transfer the sketch onto the wall or canvas using light 'ghost' lines.
Add some colour: This is the fun part! The youth group dives into our wide range of professional spray paint colours to fill in their piece.
Cutting and highlights: We teach them how to add 'highlights' for a 3D effect and 'cut' the edges for a sharp, professional look.
The final tag: Every artist needs a signature! We help everyone create their own tag to mark their contribution.
Photo op: We finish with a group photoshoot in front of the masterpiece to celebrate the hard work!

Lokalna kultura

Toulouse isn't just about pink bricks and aerospace; it’s a massive playground for street art! From the famous murals at Arnaud Bernard to the vibrant Hall of Fame spots along the Canal du Midi, the city breaths urban creativity. Our workshops tap into this local 'Occitanie' spirit, encouraging youth to look at their city through a different lens. We often draw inspiration from the city's red-hued architecture and its history of aviation to fuel our designs.

Fun Fact: Toulouse hosts the "Rose Béton" festival, an international street art event that has turned many of the city's grey walls into world-class masterpieces!
