Where exactly in Charleroi does the workshop take place?

Most of our Charleroi cultural workshops take place at designated legal street art zones or our partner creative hubs. These locations provide the perfect urban backdrop for an authentic experience. If you have a specific venue in mind for your event, we can also bring the graffiti experience to you, provided there is adequate ventilation and space to work safely. We handle all the logistics!

Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners who have never touched a spray can to seasoned creatives looking for a new medium. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering. It is all about having fun, expressing yourself, and learning something new in a relaxed, supportive environment. Everyone leaves with a masterpiece!

What materials are included in the cultural event package?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, caps/nozzles for different effects, protective coveralls, gloves, and masks. We also provide the canvases or boards you will be painting on. Just make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting a little paint on!

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one breathes in fumes, along with protective gloves and suits. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large indoor spaces with high ceilings. Our instructors are trained to manage the equipment safely, ensuring a worry-free environment for children, adults, and corporate groups alike.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Our standard cultural workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of the culture, a demonstration of techniques, practice time, and the creation of your final piece. If you are planning a larger festival or a more complex brand activation, we can adjust the timing to fit your specific schedule and event flow perfectly.

What happens if it rains on the day of our event?

Yes, Charleroi can be unpredictable! For outdoor events, we always have a backup plan. This might include using marquees or shifting the workshop to one of our indoor partner locations. Because we have a large team of backup artists available, we almost never cancel a session. We make sure the creative energy keeps flowing, no matter what the Belgian clouds are doing!

How do I handle the payment for our group?

We offer total flexibility. You can pay on the day of the workshop once you are 100% satisfied with the experience, or we can arrange an invoice for corporate and school groups. We do not require upfront deposits for most standard bookings because we believe in the quality of our service. Our goal is to make the booking process as stress-free as the workshop itself!

Cultura local

Charleroi, once the industrial heart of Belgium, has reinvented itself as a vibrant hub for contemporary urban culture. The city's grit provides the perfect canvas for street art, with iconic locations like the "Quai de l'Utre" becoming outdoor galleries. Our workshops tap into this local transition, moving from the "Black Country" heritage to a colourful, creative future.

Fun Fact: Charleroi is home to the "Street Art Tour," one of the most extensive urban art routes in Belgium, featuring massive murals that have transformed abandoned industrial silos into breathtaking works of art! 🚀
