Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Not at all! Our Malaga workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of spray can control, lettering, and shading. Most university students find they pick it up surprisingly quickly. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the high-quality mural you’ve helped create alongside your peers. It's all about the experience and having a blast!

Is the workshop safe for students?

We take safety seriously. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or suitable indoor venues. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the equipment properly while making their mark on the Malaga street art scene.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of graffiti, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the creation of a final group project. We can also adapt the timing to fit into your society's schedule or a specific university orientation day event. Just let us know your requirements, and we'll make it work!

What materials are included in the price?

Everything is included! We provide the spray cans in a wide variety of colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, overalls), and the 'canvas'—whether that's a mobile wall, individual boards, or a designated legal wall in Malaga. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on and bring plenty of energy. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the art.

Can we choose a specific theme or design for our mural?

Absolutely! We love it when student groups bring their own ideas. Whether you want to incorporate your university colours, a society logo, or a specific theme like sustainability or student life, our artists will help you refine the concept and bring it to life on a large scale. It’s a fantastic way to create something that truly represents your group's identity in Malaga.

What is the maximum group size for a university event?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops for small student societies of 10 people or large-scale university events with over 100 participants. For very large groups, we bring in extra professional artists and set up multiple stations to ensure everyone gets hands-on time and personal guidance. No matter the size of your cohort, we ensure a high-quality, interactive experience for every student.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor workshop?

Malaga is blessed with great weather, but we always have a plan B. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space using water-based, low-odour spray paints that are safe for indoor use. Additionally, we have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead even if there are last-minute changes. Your event's success is our priority.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Cultura local

Malaga has transformed into a world-renowned hub for street art, largely thanks to the urban regeneration of the MAUS project in the SOHO district. From towering murals by international icons like Obey and D*Face to local legends decorating the banks of the Guadalmedina river, creative energy is everywhere here. Our workshops tap into this vibrant local culture, giving you a chance to contribute to the city's artistic spirit.

Fun Fact: Did you know Malaga is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso? That artistic DNA runs deep through the city's veins, making it the perfect place to pick up a spray can and discover your own inner master! 🎨
