Is the spray paint safe for children and teenagers?

Safety is our biggest priority! We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks to ensure nobody breathes in paint fumes. We also supply protective overalls and gloves to keep clothes clean. Our instructors are professional artists who have years of experience working with children and young people, ensuring a supervised, secure, and supportive environment throughout the entire workshop in Las Palmas.

Do students need prior art experience to join?

Not at all! Our after-school workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total beginners to budding artists. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can, how to control pressure, and how to draw a simple line. Our friendly instructors guide every student step-by-step, so even those who think they 'can't draw' end up creating something they are truly proud of.

What should students wear to the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' character on. While we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, spray paint has a habit of finding its way onto sleeves or trainers. In the sunny Las Palmas climate, lightweight clothing underneath the overalls is best to keep cool while staying active and creative.

How long does a typical after-school session last?

A standard after-school session typically lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, sketching out designs, and plenty of hands-on painting time. We can also adjust the duration to fit into specific school schedules or club time slots if you have a different timeframe in mind.

How much does an after-school graffiti workshop cost?

Our pricing is flexible and usually ranges between €25 and €50 per person. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the location, and whether we are painting on a permanent wall or individual canvases that students can take home. We don't require any upfront payment—you simply pay once the workshop is completed. Request a custom quote for your specific group!

Can you host the workshop at our school or club?

Absolutely! While we love painting on large walls for that authentic street art feel, we can also set up mobile 'graffiti walls' or use individual canvases. This means we can host the workshop directly at your school, a local community centre, or even a public park in Las Palmas (with the right permits). We bring all the gear to you, making it super easy to organise.

Experiența

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your after-school programme in Las Palmas? It’s more than just painting; it's about building community and finding a voice. Here is why students love it:

🔥 Boosts confidence: Seeing a massive piece of art you created yourself is an incredible feeling of achievement.
🎨 Alternative creativity: Perfect for students who might not enjoy traditional fine arts but love urban culture.
🤝 Team building: Collaborative murals require communication and teamwork to bring a big vision to life.
✨ Authentic experience: Learn from real professional artists who are active in the street art scene.
🚀 Safe environment: We provide all the gear and guidance to ensure creative "vandalism" stays strictly legal and fun!

Pas cu pas

Intro and safety briefing: We kick off with a warm welcome and hand out the professional gear. Safety first! Everyone gets a mask and suit.
Mastering the can: Our artists show you the "magic" of spray paint—how different caps and pressures change your lines.
Sketching the vision: Students grab paper and pencils to brainstorm their tags or characters, turning ideas into a blueprint.
The outline phase: Move to the wall or canvas! We help you scale up your sketch and get those first professional lines down.
Filling with colour: This is where the magic happens. We teach you how to fill large areas quickly and how to blend colours like a pro.
Sharpening the details: Learn the secret of the "second outline" and highlights to make your artwork pop off the surface.
Final touches and photos: We add those tiny details that make a piece look finished. Then, we snap some epic photos of the team and their work.

Cultura locală

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is a city bursting with hidden artistic gems. From the mural-laden streets of the Guanarteme district to the vibrant urban galleries in Vegueta, street art is woven into the city's modern identity. Our workshops tap into this local energy, drawing inspiration from the Atlantic breeze and the colourful architecture that surrounds us. We don't just teach art; we connect students to the living, breathing culture of their own city. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Gran Canaria hosts several street art festivals throughout the year? Some of our own instructors have even contributed to the large-scale murals you see while walking through the city!
