Do I need any prior art experience to join the pop-up?

Absolutely! Most of our Manchester pop-up participants have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists break down the process into easy, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to 'fills' and 'outlines'. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the techniques and how professional your final piece looks by the end of the session.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to create your masterpiece. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or boards you’ll be painting on. Just bring your enthusiasm and perhaps some old shoes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on!

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes. Our Manchester workshops are usually held in well-ventilated spaces or outdoors. Our instructors also give a full safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a fun and worry-free environment.

How long does a typical pop-up session last?

Our standard pop-up workshops in Manchester typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, a demonstration of techniques, practice time, and the creation of your final artwork. If you're looking for a more intensive Masterclass, we can extend the duration to 3 hours. It's the perfect length to stay energised and creative.

What is the minimum or maximum group size?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you’re a small group of friends or a large corporate team, we can accommodate you. For pop-up events, we usually work with groups from 10 skaters/artists up to 100+ people in rotating shifts. If you have a specific group size in mind for your Manchester event, just let us know and we will tailor the setup to suit.

What happens if it rains during the event?

While we love the raw energy of outdoor street art, we know the Manchester weather can be unpredictable! Many of our pop-up locations have indoor or covered options. If we are planned for outdoors and the rain moves in, we always have backup plans or portable gazebo setups to keep the creative juices flowing without getting soaked. We make sure the fun never stops!

How does the payment process work?

We believe in a hassle-free booking experience. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. Simply get in touch, we'll discuss your requirements and provide a quote. Once you're happy, we'll book it in. You only pay after the workshop has successfully taken place. This reflects our 100% satisfaction guarantee and our confidence in the quality we deliver!

Cultura locală

Manchester has a soul built on grit and creativity, making it the perfect canvas for street art. From the iconic Manchester Bee symbols found in every corner to the massive murals lining the streets of the Northern Quarter and Ancoats, this city breathes urban culture. Our pop-up events tap into this legendary Mancunian spirit, celebrating a city that has always marched to its own beat. Whether we're setting up near the legendary Affleck's Palace or a warehouse in Salford, the vibe is always authentic.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Manchester's Northern Quarter is often used by Hollywood film crews to replicate New York City? The red brickwork and back alleys are so 'Brooklyn' that it provides the perfect backdrop for our urban art workshops! 🐝
