- Introduction & History: We kick things off with a high-energy intro into the world of street art, its roots, and how it evolved into a global art movement.
- Safety First: Every student gets geared up with protective suits, masks, and gloves. We explain how to use the equipment safely and responsibly.
- The Sketching Phase: Before spraying, we grab the markers! Students learn to design their own 'tags' and 'pieces' on paper, focusing on letter structure and flow.
- Can Control 101: Our artists demonstrate professional techniques—how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create different line widths.
- Practice Makes Perfect: Students head to the walls to practice their first lines and shapes, getting a feel for the spray and the surface.
- The Big Project: Working together or individually, the group begins their main mural. This is where the big colours and 'fills' come into play!
- Adding the Details: We teach the tricks of the trade—outlining, highlights, and 3D effects that make the artwork pop off the wall.
