Do the kids need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! No prior painting or drawing experience is required for our Munich summer camp. Our pro artists are experts at breaking down complex mural techniques into easy, fun steps. We start with the basics of nozzle control and simple lines, ensuring every camper feels confident and proud of their creation by the end of the day. It is all about the 'learning by doing' spirit!

Is it safe for children to use spray paint?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep clothes clean. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially designated legal spray zones in Munich. Furthermore, our instructors are rained in safety protocols and supervise the group closely at all times to ensure a fun, accident-free environment.

What should the participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little 'colourful.' Even though we provide protective suits, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto sleeves or trainers! Since many of our Munich sessions are held outdoors, please check the weather forecast and bring a hat, sunscreen, or a light jacket depending on the day's conditions.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Our standard summer camp sessions usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for a professional introduction, technique practice, and the final creation of a large-scale piece. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy levels high and focus sharp without the kids getting overtired. We can also adapt the duration for full-day camp programmes.

How does the payment process work?

We are incredibly flexible! There is no need for upfront payments when you book with Graffitifun. You can settle the balance after the workshop has been successfully completed. We believe in our service so much that we want you to be 100% satisfied before worrying about the bill. This makes the planning process for camp organisers much less stressful and more transparent.

What happens if it rains on the day of the camp?

Munich is famous for its sudden summer showers! If the weather turns against us, we have several options. We can often move to a covered outdoor location or an indoor space with proper ventilation. Because we have a large team, we are also flexible with rescheduling. Plus, we always have backup artists on standby, so your event will never be cancelled due to staff illness.

Are all materials included in the quoted price?

Everything is included in the price! We provide all the professional spray paint (in a huge variety of vibrant colours), high-end caps (nozzles), protective gear, and the surfaces to paint on—whether that is a practice wall, large wooden boards, or individual canvases. We even handle the bits people forget, like tape and sketches. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and creativity!

Miestna kultúra

Munich isn't just about Lederhosen and beer gardens; it has one of the oldest and most respected street art scenes in Germany! From the legendary halls of fame at the Tumblingerstraße to the vibrant murals in the Werksviertel-Mitte, the city is a living gallery. Our summer camp sessions soak up this local vibe, often taking place near these iconic spots to inspire the next generation of artists. 🇩🇪

Fun Fact: Did you know that Munich was a pioneer of the European graffiti movement in the 1980s? The city's 'Geltendorf' train remains a legendary piece of history for street artists worldwide!
