Do we need to be artistic or have drawing skills?

No artistic talent is required! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners how to handle a spray can. We focus on 'design thinking' and collaborative problem-solving. By the end of the session, even the most 'non-creative' team members will be amazed at what they've contributed to the final masterpiece. It’s all about the process and working together as a unit.

Is the workshop safe for my employees?

Yes, we prioritize your team's safety. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialized masks to ensure no paint gets on your clothes or is inhaled. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier and safer to control for beginners. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free and fun environment.

Can the workshop take place indoors or at our office?

Absolutely! While we have several fantastic outdoor locations in Groningen near the city centre, we also have access to indoor spaces or can bring the workshop to your own office if you have a suitable ventilated area or car park. We always have a backup plan ready, so the unpredictable Dutch weather won't dampen your team's creative spirit.

How long does a typical team building session last?

A standard team development session usually lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. This includes the introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the collaborative 'masterpiece' phase. However, we are flexible! If you have a tight schedule for your 'suit-out-of-the-office' day or want a more intensive 4-hour deep dive into street art culture, we can accommodate your needs.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We generally accommodate groups from 10 up to 100+ participants. For team development, we find that groups of 15-20 per instructor work best to ensure everyone gets hands-on guidance. If you have a very large department, we simply bring in more of our professional artists and set up multiple 'canvas stations' so everyone stays active and engaged throughout the event.

How much does a team building workshop in Groningen cost?

A typical session starts at €25 to €55 per person, depending on the group size, location, and specific customisations (like keeping the final canvases for your office walls). We pride ourselves on transparency, so there are no hidden fees. Plus, with Graffitifun, you don't have to pay upfront; you only settle the invoice after the workshop is successfully completed.

Upplevelsen

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team outing in Groningen? It’s simple: it levels the playing field. In front of a blank wall, CEOs and interns are equals, both learning a brand-new skill together. ✨

Break the routine: Move beyond the "trust-fall" clichés with an edgy, urban activity that people actually want to talk about. 🚀
Visualise company values: Instead of just talking about mission statements, paint them into a tangible mural for the office.
Boost communication: Spray painting a large-scale piece requires constant coordination and "big picture" thinking. 💪
Stress relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic and liberating about the rhythmic hiss of a spray can.
Lasting memories: Unlike a dinner or a movie, you walk away with a physical piece of art (or great photos) representing your collective effort. 🏆

Steg för steg

The warm-up: We start with a high-energy intro into the history of street art and the basic rules of the "street" in Groningen.
Safety first: Everyone gets geared up in protective suits, masks, and gloves to keep those office clothes pristine.
First lines: Individual practice on 'training walls' where you'll learn how to control pressure, create flares, and master clean outlines.
Concept brainstorming: The team gathers to brainstorm a theme or company values that will be represented in the final collaborative mural.
The grand sketch: Under the guidance of our artists, the main outlines of your collective vision are placed on the large-scale canvases.
Filling and fading: This is where the teamwork kicks in—participants work in sub-teams to fill sections, create gradients, and add character.
The 'Power-Line': Our pros help you add those sharp professional finishing touches that make the artwork truly pop.
Grand reveal and photo op: We step back to admire the collective work, followed by a team photo session with your masterpiece.
