Steg för steg
- Introduction to Street Art Culture: We start with a chat about the history of graffiti in Amsterdam and the difference between art and vandalism.
- Safety Briefing: Every participant gets geared up with protective suits, gloves, and professional masks while learning how to handle the cans safely.
- The Art of the Line: Our artists demonstrate how to control pressure, distance, and speed to create clean lines and dots.
- Sketching the Concept: Participants brainstorm their designs on paper, focusing on positive messaging and artistic composition.
- Can Control Practice: Before hitting the main piece, everyone gets a chance to 'feel' the spray cans on a practice surface.
- Creating the Background: We teach how to apply smooth gradients and fill large areas efficiently without drips.
- Outlining and Detail: This is where the piece comes to life. We show you how to add sharp outlines and highlights.
- Final Review and Cleanup: We look at the finished work together, discussing the pride of creating something legal and beautiful.
- Certification: Participants leave with a sense of achievement and a better understanding of their role in the city's visual landscape.

Lokal kultur
Gatukonst i Amsterdam
Amsterdam has a legendary relationship with street art, from the early punk-graffiti of the 70s to the world-class murals at the NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam Noord. It is a city that breathes creativity, but even here, the line between urban art and unwanted vandalism can get blurred. Our workshops tap into this rich local history, often taking place near iconic spots like the Spuistraat or the Flevopark halls of fame. We don't just teach art; we teach the Amsterdam 'no-nonsense' approach to street culture—respecting the work of others and understanding the local 'codes' of the street. By connecting young people with the city's vibrant legal scene, we help maintain Amsterdam's beauty while supporting its next generation of legitimate artists.
Prissättning
Our workshop prices are competitive and transparent, ensuring high-quality education is accessible for various budgets. Costs typically range from €25 to €55 per person, depending on the number of participants, the location of the event, and the specific materials required for your project.
We understand that community programs and schools often have specific procurement requirements. That’s why we offer a 'book now, pay later' policy with no deposit required. This makes the administrative process as smooth as the paint we use.
