How long does a typical graffiti birthday party last?

Most of our Liege birthday workshops last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning time and creative freedom without the kids getting tired. We start with a safety briefing and technique practice before moving on to the main masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule to stick to for cake or other presents, just let us know and we can adjust the flow to suit your needs!

What is the minimum age for the workshop?

We generally recommend our graffiti parties for kids aged 8 and up. At this age, they have the physical strength to press the spray nozzles and the coordination to follow the artist's instructions. For younger groups, we can sometimes adapt the session with smaller cans or more hands-on assistance. It’s a fantastic way for pre-teens and teenagers to express their individuality in a safe, supervised, and totally cool environment.

Is it safe for children to use spray paint?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls for every child. Our spray paints are professional-grade but used in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our instructors are experienced at managing groups of children and ensure that the 'spray zone' remains a safe place for everyone. We also use low-odour paints whenever possible to ensure a comfortable experience for the little artists.

What should the kids wear to the party?

While we provide protective overalls, we always recommend that kids wear 'play clothes' and old trainers. Graffiti is a messy business, and paint has a habit of finding its way onto sleeves or shoes! Think of it like a sports practice or a messy art class at school—don't wear anything brand new or sentimental. Once the paint is on clothes, it’s usually there to stay as a souvenir of their artistic debut!

Can you host the party at our home in Liege?

Absolutely! We have access to several legal graffiti zones in Liege, but we are also happy to come to you if you have a suitable outdoor space with a wall or if we can set up our mobile plastic film walls. If you're hosting at home, we just need a bit of space and permission to set up our frames. If you don't have a spot, don't worry—we’ll suggest the coolest local street art spots!

Do the children need any prior artistic skills?

Not at all! Our professional artists specialize in teaching absolute beginners. We start with the basics: how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to make different lines. Every child will be guided through the process, and our artists are there to help them refine their ideas. Most kids are shocked at how much they can achieve in just a couple of hours. No talent required, just a big imagination!

What happens if we need to cancel or change the date?

We understand that plans can change! Unlike many other providers, Graffitifun offers a flexible booking system. You don't have to pay anything upfront, and you only pay after the workshop is completed. We also have a pool of backup artists available in the Liege area, so even if an instructor falls ill, we do everything in our power to ensure your child's big day still goes ahead as planned.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Lokal kultur

Liege is a city with a soul of steel and a heart of art. From the iconic stairs of Montagne de Bueren to the urban edges of the Meuse, the city is a playground for creativity. We love hosting parties here because Liege's "Cité Ardente" spirit perfectly matches the energy of graffiti. Whether we’re setting up near the Parc de la Boverie or at a dedicated street art zone, the local atmosphere adds an extra layer of "cool" to every birthday.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Liege is home to some of the most impressive mural trails in Belgium? The city actively supports urban art through projects like "Paliss'art," making it the perfect backdrop for your child to start their journey as a street artist! 🎨
