Do I need to have any previous graffiti experience?

Absolutely no prior experience with spray cans is required! Our Munich-based artists are experts at teaching the fundamentals to beginners. We start with basic nozzle control and line work before moving on to more complex techniques. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the skills needed to lead your own classroom sessions back at school. It's all about building your confidence in a supportive, creative environment.

Will I receive any teaching materials to take away?

Yes, we provide all participants with a detailed digital resource pack. This includes lesson plan templates, safety checklists, history of street art guides, and a glossary of terms. These materials are specifically designed to help you integrate graffiti into the German school curriculum or your specific art programme, ensuring you have everything you need to start teaching right away.

Is the training safe and do you provide protective gear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respirators, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. During the training, we also cover the essential safety protocols you'll need to implement when working with students, such as proper ventilation, storage of aerosol cans, and age-appropriate handling of materials. We ensure you feel 100% comfortable managing these aspects in your own sessions.

How long does a professional development workshop last?

Our standard teacher development sessions in Munich typically last between 2.5 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the theoretical background, technical practice, and a final collaborative piece. If you have a larger group of faculty members or require a more in-depth masterclass, we can easily extend the duration to suit your specific professional development goals.

Where in Munich do the training sessions take place?

We can host the training at one of our vibrant outdoor legal graffiti spots in Munich, providing an authentic street art experience. Alternatively, if your school or facility has a suitable outdoor space with proper permissions, our artists can come to you. This "on-site" option is great for teams who want to test the logistics of teaching graffiti in their own backyards!

What is your cancellation and payment policy?

We understand that school budgets and professional development schedules can change. Unlike many other providers, we don't require upfront payment. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. We also have a reliable team of backup artists in the Munich area, so we can almost always guarantee your session will go ahead even if an instructor falls ill.

Lokal kultur

Munich might be famous for its classic architecture, but beneath the surface lies one of Germany’s most influential graffiti scenes. From the legendary "Hall of Fame" at the Werksviertel to the vibrant murals along the Isar, the city is a living gallery. Our training sessions often take place near these iconic spots, giving you a front-row seat to the local culture. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Munich was home to some of the first "whole cars" (fully painted trains) in Europe back in the 80s? The city has a deep-rooted respect for the craft that we love to share with visiting teachers! 🇩🇪
