How much does a youth graffiti workshop in Bruges cost?

Absolutely! We understand that youth project budgets can be tight. Our pricing is flexible, ranging from €25 to €55 per participant depending on the group size and the specific materials required. We believe every young person in Bruges should have access to high-quality creative outlets, so we work closely with your organisation to find a package that fits your financial constraints without compromising on the quality of the experience.

Is the workshop safe for teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respirators, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professional artists who are experienced in managing group dynamics and ensuring that spray cans are used responsibly. We always conduct a safety briefing at the start of every session to ensure a fun, hazard-free environment for all participants.

Can the workshop take place at our own youth centre?

While we often work at dedicated legal graffiti walls in Bruges, we are also fully mobile! If your youth centre or school has a suitable outdoor space with enough ventilation, we can bring the workshop to you. We use mobile plastic 'stretch walls' or large wooden panels to create a temporary canvas, ensuring no permanent damage is done to your property while still providing a professional street art experience.

Do the participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Most of the young people we work with have never touched a spray can before. Our artists are expert teachers who break down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps. By the end of the session, even those who claim they 'can't draw a stick figure' will be amazed at the professional-looking piece they helped create.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard youth project workshop typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for a thorough safety briefing, an introduction to street art history, practicing basic lines and fades, and finally collaborating on a large-scale masterpiece. We can adjust the timing to fit your specific schedule, whether it's a short afternoon taster or a full-day immersive creative event.

What should the youth participants wear?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide full-body protective overalls, graffiti paint is designed to be permanent, and a few stray droplets can sometimes find their way onto sleeves or trainers. It's best to come prepared so you can focus entirely on your art without worrying about your wardrobe!

What is the maximum group size for a workshop?

For youth projects, we typically handle groups from 10 up to 50 participants at a time. For very large groups, we bring in additional professional artists from our backup pool to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance. If you have a larger youth organisation event in mind, just let us know, and we can scale the project to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Design conceptualisation: Our artists help the youth brainstorm a theme or message that represents their community or project.
Safety and gear up: On the day, we kit everyone out in overalls, masks, and gloves and explain the golden rules of the spray can.
Technique practice: Participants learn the basics—how to make thin lines, fat caps, and smooth gradients on a practice surface.
Outline and filling: The group begins applying the main shapes of their mural, learning how to layer colours effectively.
Shadows and highlights: We teach the "pro" tricks to make the artwork pop and look three-dimensional.
The finishing touch: Adding sharp outlines and "power lines" to bring the collective vision to life.
Photo session and cleanup: We celebrate the final result with high-quality photos before tidying up the workspace.

Lokal kultur

Bruges might be famous for its medieval belfry and winding canals, but there is a vibrant underground pulse waiting to be tapped into. Beyond the chocolate shops of the Markt, youth culture is thriving, and street art provides a vital bridge between the city’s historic past and its modern future. We often utilise incredible urban spaces like the 'Graffiti-muur' at the beach in nearby Zeebrugge or local urban spots approved by the City of Bruges. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging young people to see their city not just as a museum, but as a living canvas where their voices matter. From the outskirts of Sint-Michiels to the heart of the city centre, we bring the tools to turn local stories into vivid, spray-painted reality.

Prissättning

Our youth project workshops in Bruges are designed to be accessible and high-impact. Pricing typically ranges from €25 to €55 per person, depending on the total number of participants and the location setup.

Because every youth organisation has different needs, we offer bespoke packages to ensure you get the best value for your community.
