Do the participants need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! No prior experience is needed for our youth projects. Our professional artists are expert mentors who break down complex techniques into easy, manageable steps. We start with the basics of can control and safety, ensuring everyone feels confident before they touch the wall. It’s all about building self-esteem and discovering new talents in a supportive, high-energy environment. Nice’s next generation of artists starts right here!

What safety measures are in place for youth workshops?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier for younger people to control, and our workshops always take place in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially designated legal graffiti spots. Our instructors are fully trained in site safety and group management to ensure a worry-free experience for everyone involved.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard youth project workshop in Nice usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group enough time to learn the history of street art, practice their techniques, and complete a large-scale collaborative mural. We can also adapt the duration for multi-day projects if you're looking for a more in-depth educational programme or a larger community art installation.

Where in Nice do the workshops take place?

We are totally mobile! We can host workshops at various legal street art locations around Nice, or we can come to your youth centre, school, or sports club. If we come to you, we use large mobile wooden walls or plastic stretch film (cellograff) to create a temporary canvas, ensuring your permanent walls stay exactly as they are. This flexibility makes it easy to bring the art to your doorstep.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

The weather in Nice is usually beautiful, but we always have a plan B. If the forecast looks rainy, we can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or use an indoor space with water-based, low-odour spray paint and protective floor coverings. We also have a network of backup artists available, so your event is guaranteed to go ahead regardless of minor hitches. We've got you covered!

What are the educational benefits of these projects?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for youth development. It encourages teamwork as participants must collaborate on a single large mural. It also boosts problem-solving skills, patience, and spatial awareness. Beyond the art, it’s a powerful way for young people to express their identity and feel a sense of pride in their contribution to the local community's visual culture. It transforms 'vandalism' into constructive, creative energy.

How much does a graffiti youth project cost?

Our pricing is flexible to suit different budgets, typically ranging from €30 to €65 per person. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the amount of materials needed, and the specific location. We believe in transparency, so we offer a free Cost Calculator on our site, or you can contact us for a bespoke quote tailored specifically to your youth group’s needs and goals.

Upplevelsen

Why choose a graffiti project for your youth group in Nice? It’s more than just painting—it’s about building confidence and community spirit in a unique, hands-on way. ✨

💪 Boosts self-esteem: Seeing a massive mural completed from scratch gives young people a huge sense of achievement.
🤝 Encourages teamwork: You can't paint a 10-metre wall alone! Participants learn to communicate and collaborate.
🎨 Safe expression: We provide a legal, structured outlet for urban creativity and self-expression.
🔥 Pro mentors: Our artists aren't just talented; they're great at connecting with and inspiring young people.
🚀 100% Satisfaction: We focus on the fun and the process, ensuring every participant leaves with a smile.

Steg för steg

Introduction & culture: We kick off with a brief history of graffiti, moving from its roots in NY to the vibrant street art scene in France.
Safety briefing: Everyone gets geared up with masks and gloves while we explain how to use the equipment responsibly and safely.
Sketching the vision: Participants grab paper and pencils to brainstorm ideas and sketch out the design for their collaborative project.
Can control basics: Our pros demonstrate how to create thin lines, fat fills, and smooth gradients using different nozzles (caps).
Outline & fill: The group starts bringing the sketch to life on the wall, learning how to work together to fill in large areas of colour.
Adding the details: This is where the magic happens! We teach cutting, shadows, and highlights to make the artwork pop and look professional.
The finishing touch: A final outline is added to sharpen the image, and participants can "tag" their work to claim their contribution.
Group photo & cleanup: We celebrate the masterpiece with a photoshoot and ensure the area is left spotless.

Lokal kultur

Nice isn't just about blue chairs and pebble beaches; it has a pulse of urban creativity that runs through its sun-drenched streets. The local "street art" scene has grown massively, with legal walls and hidden gems scattered throughout the city, providing a Mediterranean twist on urban expression. Our workshops tap into this local vibe, encouraging young Niçois to contribute to their city's cultural tapestry.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Nice is home to some incredible large-scale murals in the Pasteur district? The city has increasingly embraced urban art as a way to rejuvenate public spaces, making it the perfect backdrop for a youth project that connects the next generation with their local environment. 🌊
