Do we need any previous artistic experience to participate?

Absolutely no prior art skills are needed! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at guiding beginners from their very first spray to a finished masterpiece. We focus on team spirit and experimentation rather than perfection. You'll be surprised at what your team can achieve together with just a few basic techniques and a bit of creative confidence. It’s all about the experience and the bond you build while doing it!

What safety measures and protective gear do you provide?

We take safety seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use premium low-pressure paints that are easier to control, making the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone in your Dortmund office.

How long does a typical team development session last?

Standard team development workshops in Dortmund typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives your team enough time to learn the history of street art, practice basic strokes, brainstorm a concept, and execute a large-scale mural. If you have a specific schedule or a tighter window during a seminar day, we can customise the duration to fit your itinerary perfectly.

Is an upfront payment required to secure our booking?

A huge advantage of booking with Graffitifun is our flexibility. We don't require upfront payments for your booking. You can settle the invoice after the workshop has taken place and you are 100% satisfied with the result. We believe in our service and want you to feel completely secure and stress-free when planning your corporate event with us.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

Dortmund weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered! If we are planned for an outdoor location and it rains, we often have indoor alternatives or can use covered areas. Additionally, because we have a large network of backup artists, we are incredibly reliable. We rarely ever cancel; we prefer to find a creative solution so your team building happens no matter what.

Can we incorporate our company values or logo into the artwork?

Definitely! We encourage teams to think about their company values, a new project name, or their brand identity before the session. Our artists will help you translate those abstract ideas into a visual graffiti concept. Whether it’s your company logo or a slogan that represents your team’s goals for the year, we’ll help you spray it large and loud!

Where in Dortmund do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop at one of our dedicated creative spots in Dortmund, or we can come to you! If your office has a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated warehouse area, we can bring the entire mobile studio to your doorstep. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, we’ll recommend one of the city's legal graffiti zones to give you an authentic street art experience.

Zážitek

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next team outing in Dortmund? Because standard bowling just doesn’t cut it anymore! Here’s why your team will love it:

Break down hierarchies: In front of a blank wall, everyone is equal. Whether you're the CEO or the intern, the spray can doesn't discriminate. 🤝
Boost creative problem solving: Working on a large-scale mural requires coordination, planning, and thinking outside the (spray) box.
Tangible results: Unlike a digital seminar, you’ll have a massive, colourful piece of art to show for your efforts. 🏆
Total stress relief: There’s something incredibly cathartic about the "psssst" sound of a spray can and seeing vibrant colours hit the wall.
Reliability guaranteed: With our backup artist system, we ensure your event goes ahead no matter what. No last-minute cancellations here! ✨

Krok za krokem

The initial spark: Reach out to us with your team size and preferred date. We'll chat about your goals for the day.
Concept creation: Use our Tag Creator or work with our artists to brainstorm a theme that reflects your team’s unique culture.
The arrival: Meet our pro artists at the chosen Dortmund location. We’ll have all the cans, masks, and suits ready for you.
Mastering the tools: Start with a crash course in "can control." You'll learn how to draw lines, fades, and fills like a pro.
Collaborative sketching: The team works together to sketch the main design onto the wall or large canvases. Communication is key here!
Adding the colour: This is the high-energy part! Everyone grabs a can and starts bringing the collective vision to life with vibrant colours.
The final outlines: Our artists help you add those sharp professional touches and highlights that make the artwork pop.
Reflection & photos: Step back and admire your work. It's the perfect time for a team photo in front of your new masterpiece.
Aftercare: We handle the cleanup, and you head off with a boosted team spirit (and maybe some cool photos for the office wall).

Místní kultura

Dortmund is a city that wears its heart on its sleeve—and its art on its walls. From the iconic Dortmunder U, a beacon of creativity, to the industrial charm of the Unionviertel, street art is woven into the very fabric of the city. This isn't just about painting; it's about tapping into the raw, industrious energy that defines the Ruhrgebiet. Performing a team building event here means connecting with a local culture that prizes hard work and creative grit.

Fun Fact: Dortmund is home to some of the most impressive "murals" in Germany, often celebrating the city's deep-rooted football culture and industrial heritage. Taking part in a workshop here puts you right in the footsteps of local legends who have used the city's walls as their canvas for decades. 🎨
