How does a graffiti workshop help prevent vandalism in Breda?

An anti-vandalism workshop in Breda isn't just a lesson in art; it's a way to channel energy into positive creation. By teaching the ethics of street art and providing legal outlets, we help reduce illegal tagging. Participants learn that graffiti is a respected art form when done correctly, fostering a sense of pride and community respect that naturally discourages the defacing of public property.

Do I need any previous drawing or painting experience?

Absolutely! No prior artistic skill is needed to enjoy our program. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring that everyone—from complete beginners to those with a bit of a creative streak—leaves with a piece of art they are proud to have created on our legal practice walls.

What safety measures are in place during the workshop?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including overall suits, gloves, and professional FFP3 respiratory masks to ensure nobody inhales fumes. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated outdoor areas or legal graffiti zones in Breda, and our instructors are trained to manage group safety throughout the entire session.

How long does a typical anti-vandalism session last?

Our standard anti-vandalism program usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the theoretical background of street art ethics, practice basic spray techniques, and complete a final collaborative masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or are planning a larger community event in Breda, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your needs.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

To provide the best experience and enough individual attention, we generally suggest a minimum group size of 10 people. However, we are very flexible and can cater to massive groups of up to 100+ participants by bringing in additional professional artists. Whether it's a small youth group or a large school project in Breda, we have the staff to handle it.

What do we need to bring to the Breda workshop?

We provide everything you need! This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colours, caps (nozzles), protective clothing, and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring our expertise and a positive vibe. You just need to wear comfortable old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty—even with the overalls, it's better to be safe than sorry!

What happens if we need to cancel or if the artist is sick?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'no cure, no pay' mentality regarding bookings. You don't need to pay anything upfront; payment is handled after the workshop is completed to your satisfaction. Additionally, we have a large team of backup artists, so even if an instructor falls ill, your event in Breda will go ahead as planned without any cancellations.

Krok za krokem

Introduction and ethics: We start with a brief talk about the history of Breda's street art and the difference between illegal vandalism and legal art.
Safety briefing: Everyone gets fitted with protective suits, gloves, and masks while we explain how to use the equipment safely.
Spray techniques: Our pros show you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create different lines and effects.
Sketching the design: Participants brainstorm a collective theme or individual sketches that promote positive community messages.
Practice run: You get some time to 'test' the cans on practice surfaces to get a feel for the flow of the paint.
The main event: Now the real work begins! We start filling in the large mural or individual panels using our new skills.
Adding details: We use high-pressure and low-pressure cans to add outlines, highlights, and those crisp finishing touches.
Final review: We step back, admire the work, and discuss how this creative outlet can replace the urge for illegal tagging.
Clean up: We pack up the gear, ensuring the Breda location is left spotless, leaving only the art behind.
