Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Faro onboarding workshop is specifically designed for beginners. Whether you have never touched a spray can before or you have a bit of a creative background, our professional artists will guide you through every step. We start with the basics of safety and nozzle control, ensuring everyone feels confident before moving on to the bigger pieces. It is all about having fun and trying something new!

What is included in the workshop price?

We provide everything you need to create a masterpiece. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and masks to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or practice walls and professional artist guidance throughout the session. All you need to bring is some comfortable shoes you do not mind getting a bit of dust on and your creative energy!

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our absolute priority. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and provide all necessary protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our workshops usually take place in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated street art zones in Faro. Our instructors are experienced professionals who oversee the entire process to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all participants.

What should I wear to the workshop?

While we provide protective suits and gloves, we always recommend wearing comfortable, older clothes and closed-toe shoes. Graffiti can be a bit messy, and while the suits cover most areas, a stray drop of paint can sometimes find its way onto a shoe or sleeve. It is best to dress in something you are not too precious about so you can focus entirely on the art!

How long does the session last?

The standard onboarding workshop in Faro typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a thorough introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final artwork. If you have a specific schedule or are part of a larger group event, we can often adjust the timing to suit your needs—just let us know when you book!

Can I book a workshop for a large group?

We love hosting groups! Our Faro workshops are perfect for team building, school trips, or just a large group of friends. We can accommodate small groups of 5 up to much larger gatherings. For very large groups, we bring in additional backup artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance. Contact us for a custom quote based on your specific group size.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

One of the best things about booking with Graffitifun is our flexibility. We do not require upfront payments for most bookings—you can pay after the workshop. We also have a team of backup artists ready to go, meaning we almost never have to cancel a session. If the Algarve weather doesn't play ball, we will work with you to find a covered spot or reschedule.

Místní kultura

Faro is more than just a gateway to the beach; it is a city with a soul painted on its walls. From the hidden gems in the winding streets of the Cidade Velha to the modern murals near the university, street art is woven into the fabric of the city. Our workshops often take place in areas that celebrate this urban creativity, giving you a real taste of the local scene.

Fun Fact: Faro hosts various urban art initiatives throughout the year, turning drab industrial spaces into open-air galleries that reflect the coastal culture of the Algarve! 🌊
