Is graffiti painting safe for younger children?

Safety is our absolute #1 priority! We provide high-quality protective gear for every child, including overalls, gloves, and specialized masks. We use high-end spray paint that is safe to use outdoors under professional supervision. Our artists are experts at managing groups of kids, ensuring a controlled, clean, and totally fun environment where everyone follows the safety rules while having an absolute blast!

What is the minimum age for a graffiti birthday party?

For our Los Angeles kids' parties, we generally recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7. At this age, children have the motor skills to press the spray nozzles and follow the artistic instructions. If you have younger kids attending, just let us know! We can often adjust the workshop style or provide smaller cans to make sure everyone can join the creative fun.

What should the kids wear to the workshop?

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little 'artistic' on! While we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy, and paint has a way of finding its way onto shoes or sleeves. It’s best to have the kids wear comfortable, older clothes and sneakers so they can move freely and paint without any worries.

Do we come to your location or do you come to us?

We are totally flexible! We can host the party at one of our vibrant outdoor partner locations across Los Angeles, or we can bring the entire street art experience to your backyard or a local park (permits pending). As long as we have a well-ventilated outdoor space and enough room for our canvases, we can set up the ultimate graffiti studio anywhere you like!

How long does the graffiti party last?

A standard kids' birthday workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives the kids enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their 'tags' on plastic practice walls, and then complete their final masterpiece on a real canvas. We find this timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for keeping energy high and creativity flowing without the kids getting tired.

Do the kids get to keep their artwork?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of a Graffitifun party is that every child gets to take their own custom canvas masterpiece home. It’s the ultimate party favor! By the end of the session, the paint is usually dry enough to transport. These canvases look amazing on bedroom walls and serve as an awesome memory of the best birthday party ever.

Do I need to pay in advance to book a party?

No way! We believe in stress-free party planning. You don't have to pay a cent upfront. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and payment is only handled after the workshop is complete and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We accept various payment methods to make it as easy as possible for busy LA parents.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Los Angeles isn't just a city; it's a massive outdoor gallery. From the iconic murals of the Arts District to the legendary graffiti walls of Melrose Avenue and the historic Venice Beach boardwalk, street art is in the DNA of LA. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, giving kids a chance to feel like the next Retna or Shepard Fairey.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the LA Arts District has over 100 murals in just a few blocks? It's one of the highest concentrations of street art in the world!

During our parties, we don't just teach painting; we share stories about LA's rich mural history, helping the next generation of Angelenos appreciate the art that surrounds them every day in this beautiful, sun-drenched city. ✨
