Art as empowerment
What are youth graffiti projects?
Youth graffiti projects are structured, professionally led street art programs designed to engage young people aged 12-21 through creative expression. Developed in collaboration with youth workers, social workers, and community organizations, these programs use graffiti art as a vehicle for building confidence, developing skills, and creating positive community impact.
Graffitifun has delivered youth engagement programs in partnership with over 200 youth centers, charities, local councils, and community organizations across the world. From inner-city London to rural communities in the Netherlands, our programs consistently demonstrate measurable outcomes in youth confidence, community cohesion, and reduction of anti-social behavior.
Our approach goes beyond teaching spray paint techniques. Each program incorporates mentorship from professional artists, discussions about legal versus illegal art, career pathways in creative industries, and collaborative mural projects that leave a lasting positive mark on neighborhoods. We believe every young person has creative potential, and our job is to unlock it safely and constructively.

Real impact stories
What youth workers say
"We had young people who barely engaged in any activities suddenly spending hours perfecting their artwork. The change in confidence was remarkable. Several have since enrolled in art courses."
Lisa van D.
Youth Center Manager, Rotterdam
"Graffitifun understood our safeguarding requirements perfectly and worked seamlessly with our staff. The community mural they created with our young people has become a landmark in the neighborhood."
Tom S.
Community Development Officer, London
"After running the 6-week program, we saw a measurable decrease in graffiti vandalism in the area. The young people now see their work as art, not rebellion. Incredible program."
