Is the spray paint safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. We also use low-odour, professional-grade spray paint that is easier for kids to handle. Our experienced instructors monitor the group constantly to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. Plus, the workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor or indoor spaces specifically chosen for a safe and creative environment for your little ones in Sidi Bel Abbes.

What is the ideal age for a graffiti birthday party?

Ideally, kids should be 6 years or older to get the most out of the experience. At this age, they have the hand strength to press the spray nozzles and the focus to follow the artist's instructions. However, if you have slightly younger siblings attending, just let us know! We can often adapt the session with stencils or paint markers so that everyone feels included in the colourful fun.

What should the kids wear to the workshop?

We recommend that children wear old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' flair on! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be a messy business, and stray paint mist sometimes finds its way onto sleeves or trousers. It’s all part of the authentic street art experience, but definitely leave the brand-new trainer box at home for this one!

Do the children need any artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional artists are great with kids and will guide them through every step—from drawing their first 'tag' to filling in complex shapes. We focus on building confidence and having fun, so by the end of the session, every child will have created something they are genuinely proud of, regardless of their prior artistic skills.

How long does a typical graffiti party session last?

The duration usually depends on the package you choose, but most kids' birthday parties in Sidi Bel Abbes last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' where they stay fully engaged and excited without getting too tired. During this time, they’ll learn the basics, practice their technique, and complete their final masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit your specific party schedule.

Can the workshop take place at my home?

If you have a large backyard or a private garage with good ventilation, we can often bring the party to you! However, we also have access to fantastic local 'street spots' and creative spaces across Sidi Bel Abbes that are perfect for spraying. When you book, we’ll discuss the best location options to ensure you have a hassle-free experience with plenty of space for the kids to go wild with colour.

Do the kids get to keep their artwork?

One of the best things about our parties is that the kids get to take their creations home! Depending on the setup, they will either work on individual canvases or a shared large-scale piece that can be cut up afterwards. It makes for the ultimate alternative to a standard party bag—a unique piece of street art they created themselves to hang on their bedroom wall!

Local culture

Sidi Bel Abbes, often called the 'City of Petit Paris', has a rich cultural soul that perfectly complements the vibrant world of street art. From the iconic Place Carnot to the lively atmosphere around the Lycée Azza Abdelkader, this city is full of inspiration. We love bringing our workshops to the heart of the Wilaya, tapping into the local creative energy that flows through its streets. Whether your kids are inspired by the city's historic architecture or its modern urban pulse, they'll find plenty of local 'vibes' to fuel their designs.

Fun Fact: Did you know Sidi Bel Abbes was once the headquarters of the French Foreign Legion? Today, it's a hub of education and art, making it the perfect backdrop for the next generation of Algerian street artists! 🎨
