Step by step

  1. The warm-up: We start with a brief introduction to the local Sucre street art scene and a safety briefing to get everyone comfortable with the gear.
  2. Design brainstorming: Our lead artist helps the group sketch out a concept. Whether it's a social message or a burst of colour, we plan it together.
  3. Can control 101: Learn how to hold the spray can, adjust your distance from the wall, and swap nozzles (caps) for different line widths.
  4. Outline and layout: We begin 'blocking out' the design on the wall using light colours to ensure the proportions are perfect.
  5. Filling in: Here comes the fun part! Everyone grabs a can to fill in the large areas of colour, learning blending and fading techniques as they go.
  6. Sharpening the lines: We use 'cut-backs' and dark outlines to make the artwork pop and give it that professional street art finish.
  7. The final details: Add highlights, shines, and your personal 'tag' or signature to the collective masterpiece.
  8. Photos and celebration: We step back to admire the work, take group photos, and celebrate the new addition to Sucre's visual landscape.

Local culture

Street art in Sucre

Sucre is world-renowned for its whitewashed walls and colonial history, but beneath that "White City" exterior lies a burgeoning urban art scene waiting to be explored. We respect the heritage of the city while adding a contemporary layer of expression through our workshops. Our sessions often draw inspiration from local Bolivian motifs, the vibrant colours of traditional textiles, and the resilient spirit of the Chuquisaca region. ✨

Fun fact: Did you know Sucre is home to Cal Orck’o, the world's largest collection of dinosaur footprints? Just as those prehistoric giants left their tracks, we help you leave your own creative footprint on the city's modern culture (in a much more colourful way, of course!). 🦖
