Do participants need any prior art experience to join?

Our graffiti charity events are designed for everyone, from age 6 to 96! You don't need any prior artistic experience or 'talent' to take part. Our professional artists guide you through the basics of can control and layering, ensuring everyone can contribute to the final masterpiece. It’s a fantastic way to engage donors, families, and local Tangier residents in a fun, inclusive environment while raising money for your cause.

How long does a typical graffiti charity event last?

Standard workshops for charity events typically run between 1.5 to 3 hours. However, we are completely flexible! For large-scale fundraisers or 'drop-in' style events at festivals, we can run rotating sessions throughout the day. We work closely with your event planners in Tangier to ensure the timing fits perfectly with your auction, speeches, or live music performances. Every schedule is tailored to maximise engagement and donations.

Is the spray paint safe for children and indoor use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves, masks, and overalls, to keep everyone's clothes clean and lungs safe. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paint. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We also ensure the chosen venue in Tangier has adequate ventilation or is an outdoor space, making the experience safe and enjoyable for all attendees.

How does the 'pay after the workshop' system work?

Graffitifun is unique because we never ask for money upfront. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel confident in booking us for your fundraiser. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This reduces the financial risk for your charity and ensures you can focus on your fundraising goals without worrying about deposit payments or complex cancellation policies.

Can we auction off the artwork created during the event?

Absolutely! We can work on large plywood boards, mobile walls, or individual canvases that can be auctioned off at the end of the night. This is a brilliant way to generate extra revenue for your cause. Many charities in Tangier choose to have one 'community mural' and several smaller pieces created by local 'celebs' or donors to be sold to the highest bidder. It’s art with a heart!

What happens if it rains or an artist is unavailable?

We come prepared for almost anything! For outdoor charity events in Tangier, we always have a 'Plan B'. If the weather looks shaky, we can often move the session to a sheltered area or provide gazebos. Additionally, we have backup artists available on call, so even if an instructor falls ill, your event will proceed exactly as planned. We guarantee your fundraiser will go ahead no matter what.

Do you provide help with the actual fundraising side?

Our primary service is the workshop experience, but for charity events, we can certainly help! Our artists can create a stunning 'live art' piece during your event to draw a crowd, which can then be auctioned. We also provide 'Tag Creator' tools and layout advice to help you theme the event. While we don't manage the charity's finances, we provide the ultimate creative engine to drive your fundraising efforts.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Culture locale

Tangier has always been a city of artists, poets, and rebels. From the Beat Generation writers of the 1950s to the modern street artists popping up in the Marshan district, this city breathes creativity. Hosting a graffiti charity event here taps into that legendary 'Tanju' spirit—a mix of international influence and deep Moroccan heritage. The light in Tangier is famous for inspiring painters; imagine that same light reflecting off a freshly sprayed mural dedicated to a good cause!

Fun fact: Tangier was once an "International Zone," making it a melting pot of cultures. Today, that legacy lives on in its eclectic street art scene, where traditional zellij patterns often meet modern graffiti styles.
