Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Graffitifunworld B.V. uses cookies and comparable browser storage on graffitifunworld.com. It describes only the technologies this website actually uses, and complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar results can be achieved with local storage, which keeps small values in your browser. Both are used here to keep the site working, remember your language and keep community members signed in.
2. Strictly necessary cookies and storage
These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering a working and secure website, and, where required, the exemption for strictly necessary storage.
- i18nextLng, local storage. Remembers the language version you selected so pages open in that language. Duration: until you clear browser storage.
- Authentication token, local storage placed by our backend client for signed in community members. Keeps you logged in and refreshes your session. Duration: until you sign out or the session expires.
- pending_voucher, local storage. Temporarily holds a voucher code entered before sign in so it can be applied afterwards. Duration: until it is used or you clear browser storage.
- Session and security cookies set by our hosting platform to route and protect requests. Duration: session.
3. Functional storage
Some interactive features, such as the tag creator, store your recent work in your own browser so it is still there when you return. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
4. Analytics and marketing cookies
We do not currently place analytics, advertising, remarketing or social tracking cookies on this domain, and no third party tracking tags are loaded. If we introduce them in future they will only load after your explicit consent, and this page will list them before that happens.
5. Third party services
A small number of features load content from third parties in your browser. When that happens, the provider receives your IP address and may set its own storage:
- Mapbox, used for the interactive map on the legal walls pages. The map is only requested when a page containing it is opened.
- flagcdn.com, serves the country flag images used in location listings.
Location imagery on legal wall pages is retrieved by our own server, so those requests do not place anything in your browser.
6. Managing cookies and storage
Because we only use strictly necessary and functional storage, no consent banner is shown at the moment. You remain in control at all times:
- delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge),
- use private browsing so storage is cleared when you close the window,
- sign out of your community account to end the authentication session.
Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean that signing in or your language preference no longer works correctly.
