Do I need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely! Our music festival workshops in Bristol are designed for everyone, from total newbies to seasoned doodles. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic can control and safety. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It’s all about having a go and enjoying the creative energy of the festival atmosphere.

What materials are included in the festival workshop?

We provide everything you need to become a street art pro for the day. This includes high-quality spray paint in a rainbow of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your festival outfit clean. We also provide the boards or canvases for you to paint on. Just bring your enthusiasm and maybe some sunglasses if the Bristol sun decides to shine!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for festival-goers?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, high-quality paints and provide all necessary PPE, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks and nitrile gloves. Our Bristol artists are highly experienced in managing outdoor workshop spaces, ensuring everyone maintains a safe distance and uses the equipment correctly. We also have full public liability insurance for total peace of mind during the event.

Can we book as a large group or just turn up?

We are very flexible! While we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot, we often have "drop-in" slots available at music festivals throughout Bristol. If you have a specific time in mind, it's best to use our online cost calculator or contact us early so we can make sure our artists are ready for your group.

What happens if it rains during the outdoor festival?

In true British festival spirit, we don't let a bit of drizzle stop the fun! If the weather is particularly bad, we usually set up under gazebos or stretch tents to keep the artists and the art dry. Bristol festivals are known for their 'show must go on' attitude, and our graffiti workshops are no different. We always have a backup plan.

How long does a typical festival graffiti session last?

Most festival sessions last between 1.5 to 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to learn the ropes and finish a piece without missing your favourite headliner. However, we can adapt the duration to fit the festival's schedule. Whether it's a quick 30-minute 'tag and go' or a deep-dive masterclass, we make it work for your rhythm.

Do I have to pay upfront for the workshop?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'play now, pay later' policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your festival booking. We believe in the quality of our workshops and the talent of our Bristol artists, so you only pay after the event is successfully completed. This makes organising your festival budget stress-free and easy.

Culture locale

Bristol isn't just a city; it's a living, breathing canvas. From the towering murals of Bedminster to the hidden treasures in Stokes Croft, street art is in the DNA of the South West. By choosing a graffiti experience here, you're tapping into the legacy of legends like Banksy and Inkie. Festivals like Upfest have put Bristol on the global map, and we bring that same authentic energy to every music event we touch. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Bristol hosted the first ever major graffiti exhibition in the UK back in the 80s? It’s arguably the most 'painted' city in Europe, making it the perfect backdrop for your festival workshop!

Tarifs

Our festival workshops are designed to be accessible and affordable for everyone. Prices typically range from £25 to £55 per person, depending on the length of the session and the number of participants. 💸
