How long does a typical pop-up graffiti workshop last?

Most of our pop-up graffiti workshops in Groningen last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives you plenty of time to learn the basic strokes, practice your technique on trial boards, and then complete your final masterpiece. We don't like to rush the creative process, so we ensure there's a relaxed pace that allows for both learning and socializing while you paint.

Do I need to have any drawing or painting experience?

No prior artistic skill is needed at all! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners. We'll show you exactly how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create cool effects like highlights and drips. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve in just one session. It's all about having fun and expressing yourself, not about being a perfect gallery artist.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need to get creative. This includes high-quality spray cans in a rainbow of colours, caps for different line widths, protective overalls, gloves, and respiratory masks. We also provide the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear some clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, just in case!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour professional spray paint and provide all necessary protective gear, including gloves and masks. Our instructors are highly experienced and will give a full safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We ensure the pop-up location in Groningen is well-ventilated and set up for a secure, enjoyable environment for everyone.

Where in Groningen do these pop-up events take place?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We can set up our pop-up events at various locations across Groningen, from trendy urban spaces and warehouses to outdoor squares or even your own backyard if it’s suitable. If you don’t have a venue in mind, we can help find the perfect 'street-vibe' spot to host your specific group and event size.

What is your payment policy for these events?

We believe in a stress-free booking experience. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. Once the workshop is finished and you’re 100% happy with the experience, that’s when we handle the payment. It’s part of our 'fun guaranteed' philosophy—we want you to focus on the art and the vibe, knowing that we’ve got everything covered.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size for the experience?

While we usually suggest a minimum of 10 people to keep the energy high and the costs low, we can accommodate almost any group size in Groningen. Whether it’s a small group of friends or a massive corporate activation with hundreds of people, we scale our team and materials accordingly. For very large groups, we simply bring in more of our expert artists to ensure everyone gets personal guidance.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Culture locale

Groningen is a city that breathes youth and creativity, thanks to its legendary student population and the edgy vibes of the Ebbingekwartier. It’s the perfect backdrop for a graffiti pop-up. Did you know that Groningen has some of the coolest legal graffiti zones in the Netherlands, like the famous 'Groninger Muur'? The city's spirit is all about pushing boundaries and trying something new, which is exactly why our workshops fit right in. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Groningen is home to the Groninger Museum, a building that is a work of art itself! Its bold, eclectic design mirrors the same creative freedom we encourage in our workshops.

Tarifs

Our Groningen pop-up experiences are designed to be affordable and transparent. Pricing typically ranges from €25 to €55 per person, depending on the number of participants, the length of the session, and the specific materials required for your unique setup.

The best part? No upfront payment is required! We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is complete. 🏆
